  • You nailed it, I'm a serious overthinker. I know for sure as it cools down it will improve everything about my runs. I think it's just really frustrating for me starting over.
  • Gosh, thanks everyone for the input! I think it's doable but the two biggest barriers for me are my irregular work schedule and the humidity. I went out early today and the humidity was killing me! I jogged a straight two miles then walked/jogged the last 1.3. I think if I'd had forced myself to keep jogging I could have…
  • Michigan... We have some really hot and humid days but in the past I've just gone in the early morning or later evening to combat that. Some days it's just impossible but I'm usually still able to get 2-3 runs in a week.
  • I think so! But maybe Dibs was holding off posting to be a gentlemen
  • This will be fun! I'm surprised at how close our losses have been so far. I'm shooting for 8 lbs this month so I'm looking at May, too
  • I'm still here! This month has been slow for me but I attribute it to my On/off work schedule. As soon as I have a stretch of days off the weight loss seems to catch up. Also I may be suffering from the two weeks I couldn't work out due to illness but I'm hoping I'm past that, too. I love seeing everyone's posts every day…
  • Great way to think about it! I've been worried every 5lbs is going to be even more difficult to lose as I go on but the thought that each time it will be more that much more noticeable is a much more motivating way to think! I wonder how much weight we've all collectively lost?
  • Susan, that's great! I've been telling myself as long as I'm not gaining and I'm feeling better, then I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing. I know what I was doing before didn't work so there's no use in going back, only forward from here. :)
  • It didn't post my whole thing! Lol I lost 12 lbs in January. I had hoped for 15 the first month because much of the weight I had to lose was recently put on and it's always seemed to me weight that I hadn't carried very long seemed to come off quicker. It did seem that my body started to really kick in with weight loss…
  • I'm on day 21 of my 30 day shred. After I drop my kids off at school I'll do level 2 this a.m. Not sure what I'm going to do at the end of my 30 days. I'm thinking of one of the beach body programs like p90x or T25.
  • I'm doing great! I've also stuck to my diet 100% and have exercised all but three days since I've started. I'm down 10 lbs. I also feel the buzz wearing away and I'm worried about staying motivated as loss will probably slow down soon. I'm committed, though! My husband has changed his eating habits with me and even though…
  • Hmmm this is tough...I don't have a fitness tracker except on my phone which I don't always carry so I can't do a step goal.... So I'll go with 1. Work out 6 days this week 2. Get more veggies in my meals 3. Keep my water intake up... I've been hitting this goal every day so far so I just want to continue that.
  • Let's see: Start level 2 of 30 Day Shred Workout 6 days/week, including my work days Stick to calorie goal and log all foods
  • I'm week 2 and so far so good. Felt a little bloated and discouraged today but I looked back at my before pictures and I already see changes so that's encouraging. I also wanted to push through what should be a rest day tomorrow so I could use it on the day I go back to my 12 hour shift on Tuesday but my legs are telling…
  • Exercise done ✔ Even got my husband to work out with me ✔ But I'm running low on my healthier foods and in general I like my weekends to be slow and easy. So I gotta get my butt to the grocery store, which I totally don't feel like doing. I will, though!

  • It's hard to keep track of which of my friends are in this group, what if we do break into smaller groups and then once a week make an effort to look at those friends profiles to see if they're still logging meals and work outs and write on their wall to either call them out/ make a suggestion/ or encourage them to keep up…
  • I do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred work out DVD  Great job at holding yourself accountable, Susan! I'm proud of all of us.
  • Hey, that's awesome! I know how hard that can be. I went to a birthday party at the beginning of this journey and I knew they were going to have unhealthy foods served, so I ate right before I went and brought a couple light snacks. It didn't help stop me from wanting to grab a piece of cake but I managed not to. Anyways,…

  • Hi! I'm looking for the same type of encouragement and accountability!
  • I need friends as well! I want some encouragement and accountability on my journey :)
  • I definitely need to add friends :) I used to use this app purely as a calorie counter but I'm looking to engage now to up my accountability. I do plan on adding back some whole grains once I get a handle on making healthier choices but I do get carbs from my fruits and vegetables currently. That's where I'm confused,…
  • Just started today! Hoping to stay motivated to finish it out. Kicked my butt more than I thought it would in 25 minutes!
