1-2 days per week I eat "maintenance" and I try to make those the days that I have lifting+conditioning+dance or competition days.

I weigh myself daily but to me, weight is just a number. I care more about how I look, how I feel, how I'm able to perform, etc.

Update: I went to an athletic trainer and was recommended to begin icing and ibuprofen to reduce swelling and pain. He also gave me several stretches to start out with. I stretch everyday because I am a dancer but I didn't specifically do any ITB stretches. In addition, I lift 3-5 times a week, run, and dance competitively…

Sorry, I should have clarified. I have a small waist and normal hips but larger thighs and a butt. Right now, the only jeans I can find are from PacSun and stretchy ones from Old Navy.

I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons. I won't eat anything I couldn't kill and the thought of eating an animal's corpse disgusts me. Are you allergic to the proteins or the oils as well? I also have a soy allergy and have found that I can eat soy lecithin and soy oil because they don't contain the protein. If that's the case, you have to skim the whole label for soy protein because the oils are not counted differently from the protein.

I was given a detox-diet pamphlet and it says that the macro-nutrients are carbohydrates, sugar, and fat. Apparently, sugar isn't a carbohydrate and protein is a micro-nutrient.
