That’s why I jumped on the VA3, it’s the newest one and it looks like a normal watch. All Garmin are waterproof and the upper end models have native swimming apps.

Oh and my comment about Apple comes from someone who got a new Garmin at the same time as me but also had an AW, they feel the Garmin surpasses the Apple Watch from a fitness perspective and I think he’s made it his every day Watch now too IIRC.

I’m team Garmin. I just don’t think anyone makes a better product and I think Fitbit are really shoddy having seen just about everyone on this forum have quality issues with theirs. And the Apple Watch is more smart less fitness. So it would depend on what you want there as a primary concern. I recently got my third device…

Protein protein and more protein with some fat and starch. But if I’m shy on protein I will get hungry. Over 100g a day and I rarely get a growling tummy. But definitely play around with different macro splits to see what works.

I'd be kind of delighted to have early menopause, I have no intention of reproducing so they're just an annoyance!

I haven't noticed anything with water retention but then in theory with the scale apparently immovable I could be retaining a boatload in which case my heartrate is already running high and has been since I got my new watch with OHR..........I live in hope! But also, I can monitor my period because I'm on the pill but I…

I'm about 5-7 beats, usually low 60s average low last few days is 70. And when I sync I can see it is often flitting around the low 70s. I'll see when it drops off as technically I should menstruate this week but because of psych meds vs BC I think it may have already happened due to whatever peculiarity is happening.

I don’t really have any small clothes other than those I have bought speculatively recently. Last time I was close to this small it was my teens in the 90s. I would 100% not be wearing anything I thought was stylish back then.

Best thing ever. I have a skirt that was an in search of/really want but it’s American and already expensive before you factor in customs charges on top. So getting anything is rare. Well a friend/acquaintance/FB person I chit chat with sometimes was selling two. One small, one extra small. The small sold before I saw them…

Just checked Sainsbury’s online, £4 normal but on offer right now for £3. Stock up!

I haven’t been in to look but probably the same.

Are you tracking your calorie intake? How much you eat dictates weight loss, not ho a crib you are if you eat more to compensate for increased activity, knowingly or not.

I am of course jealous. As I struggle with inevitable SAD on top of normal bipolar related depression. GIVE ME LONG DAYS AND SUNSHINE DAMMIT.

So those who have been in here since way back might remember the discussion about female cycles and higher resting heart rates during certain periods. Fair warning, tap out now if TMI around women’s bodily functions makes you squeamish. So, today is first day of BC break week and for those who care at all about my cycle…

The price does keep it as a sometimes thing for me but that's the way with any "specialty" products. I imagine Halo Top will come in at a similar price point.

It's low fat so that you get to add your own fat in the form of delicious butter. A slab of it.

Also here! Also not American. Also jealous at all the food.

The lunchbox loaves aren't a patch on the full size original.

I was going to take a picture of mine but I forgot and ate it.

You've reminded me, they do a toasting teacake type thing now and it is ridiculously good.

He enjoys sharing the really weird obscure studies that distract him every five minutes it seems.

Shawarma is shaved meat like the top one but here it's more layered meat shaved from the rotisserie whereas the above would be a dense mince/ground meat and always lamb. Shawarma can be chicken or lamb. All delicious which is really all that matters.

Lyle has not long posted in his FB group THE LADY BOOK has a pre-Christmas ETA, he posted a screenshot of what is lef to be edited and it's so so close to being done. Wahoo!

You answered my question before seeing my reply! Yiros/gyros are Greek, kebabs Turkish. I'd call the foods close cousins.

Chips and gravy is a thing here too, also drunk food. And chips and curry sauce. This applies for me too. Although maybe you're in the UK and that's why (I don't remember if you've mentioned where you are and I haven't profile stalked).

I am an animal person through and through. When on hikes I am always delighted to meet a friendly horse or say hi to some sheeps and cows. I'm not always delighted with bugs but they can be pretty cool. My only aw hell no is spiders and I have my brother to thank for that. I get better as I get older with the panic…

I would say yes but then I got "the fear" because I'd be devastated if I went off malt loaf.

Or in bread, hidden there too. I want unleavened bread, none of that sugar activated yeast nonsense! Soreen purchased but I also purchased two slices of cheesecake after a day of good deeds. That shall be consumed first. And @middlehaitch I checked the pack for you, you can freeze!

What method of HRM are you using? Is it wrist read? As with the above my wrist read has been funky very recently, it's not picking up my heart rate properly so I'm getting really burns. I haven't tested with my chest strap though to know if it's a universal heart rate issue with them. They've been doing a lot of tweaking…

PS. Doing a good deed for my neighbour and his mac, Soreen shall be purchased after.
