If you are getting 6000-10'000 steps a day you are not sedentary. You did not gain weight being unable to meet your calorie needs. What is your current rate of loss?
-
Ideally you should swim or splash about? That just really made me laugh. Swimmers are lean because swimming and calorie intake, not the body regulating its temperature. By that logic we should all sit out in the cold whilst trying to avoid getting hypothermia because yay, calories! No.

Am I the only one who thinks, generally speaking (not counting granola because holy calorie bomb Batman), that cereal is pretty good volume wise for the calories? I can have a giant bowl of say Cheerios for not ridiculous calories. Not saying it fills me up especially but if I want to scratch the cereal itch it's not hard…

You could just be coming down with something. Could be dehydrated. Could have exerted yourself more than usual. Could have not gotten enough sleep the night before. Carbs are highly unlikely to be causing dizziness.
-
It's a supermarket in the UK.
-
Carbs thing is because of glycogen replenishment. I had a very salty, carby day on Sunday along with a very active lifting all the heavy things (not in a gym) weekend. Currently still up about 3lbs. Whatevs body, you do you.
-
Don't forget you're going to end up all bulky and unfeminine. And how dare you even do anything that might be vaguely unwomanly.
-
Well duh. I even have the hair for it now. If I could just find my shell bra and tail.......
-
This is really not something to worry about! Eat up! But more seriously, you're young and you're active, it really has little to do with the past ED and everything to do with those two things. Enjoy it as much as you can. It's not a huge amount of calories really.
-
I like to think I'm more of a dolphin at this point. Aiming for......eel?

Strong first post from them too. Looks up 7 year old random Tesco meal deal thread to inform us inflation is a thing.
-
Well damn. Another reason to lament only having a shower.
-
What is your calorie intake?
-
That and they don't actually have a working understanding of the thing they're trying to argue so use a "source", usually from a blog or some such, of the theories they've bought into but are unable to articulate themselves.

That's not vanity sizing. Modern clothing is made with smaller hip to waist and waist to bust ratios. Under 10" typically. Prior there was a larger difference, over 10". So actually clothing will probably fit you better now than it would have in the past. Just you get to wear a smaller label size. It does also matter where…

I sell vintage wholesale jewellery and accessories on the odd weekend for a family I know. I was doing that today. We're talking 60s and earlier. We had a good chuckle about 90s being in fashion and considered vintage. And I personally would like mom jeans to stop being a thing. I am not a fan. I shouldn't have worn them…

I see your red velvet Oreos and raise you..........

Wait. Squats and deads aren't compound? And I'm not sure what "back biceps" is covering.
-
And I may not have actually been being literal. I'm British, we enjoy exaggeration laced with sarcasm.
-
Au contraire, to say a calorie isn't a calorie is what is confusing. Nutrition matters. Doesn't change the effect of calories in the energy balance equation.
-
Not directly no. The types of foods you ate had an effect on compliance/your ability to maintain a deficit. But the number of calories, if held constant in both scenarios, would have resulted in the same losses. It's just that focusing on nutrition increased satiety.
-
Oh dear. Didn't read the thread did ya? Enlighten us as to why the pound of feathers vs cement aren't the same. De ja vu.
-
I can dissociate on cue. That's a talent too right? (Was actually helpful when I was a gymnast competing, now, not so much.....)
-
You really can't get any simpler than calories. And then also talk about nutrition. Which is really what you're talking about. The nutritional profile of the foods you eat which make up your daily calorie needs. Nutrition is not the same thing as calories and you're the one making it confusing. Did we regress to page one?
-
Doesn't mean it's always accurate and you can't guarantee no bias because it's humans producing the shows and articles. (I'm not for or against the beeb, just clarifying).
-
That is the TimTam slam.
-
I get that. It's not an hourglass figure that clothing is cut for these days though (I'm an hourglass, nothing fits). It's usually about 6" waist to bust and 9-10" waist to hips. So much more of an up and down body than in times past. I have 12-14" difference waist to hips and 10" waist to bust. Women are just so variable…
-
Why are you reducing your meat portions if that's what you enjoy eating and need more calories? There's no need to do that.

When I go on my holiday to the land of the Americans I'm going to get some weird flavoured Oreos (we have some here but not as many as the literal 100s in the States) and do an MFP taste test.

Always somewhere I go when in Orlando. The speediness is also a huge plus.
