We are at the same place in our fitness journey! I maintained for years then had a major setback. I also started at 181 and have a goal of 145! Tracking and accountability are great steps towards completing your goal. You’ve got this!

I had run a couple of 5Ks that year, but hadnt run consistently for quite some time. When I started training I could barely make it ten minutes, lol.

I finished my longest run to date today - 11 miles. When I decided to try to run a half marathon at the end of November last year I didn't think it was possible. But I signed up for one in April, downloaded a training plan, stuck with it and I feel Iike it's entirely possible. Not to mention I'm stronger and much leaner.…

If it's not longer than 45min to an hour, I don't eat anything - I prefer to run first thing in the morning. On my long run days (9-11 miles), I'll have an egg, toast and almond butter 2-3 hours before I run and I'll have a GU gel after an hour.

Hi - feel free to add me; I have about 20 lbs left to lose, and it will probably take a few months so I could use the motivation!

Even though my weight loss seems painfully slow, I have lost an inch from my waist and two inches from my hips this month.

I did a Whole 30 a couple of years ago, and that's what really jump started my meal planning. They have a lot of good advice in their books and in their forums. Sundays are my prep days. Good luck!

Good morning! I haven't left the house for awhile, seems like forever, because of an ice storm. That makes me feel restless, and then I want to eat. Trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about food all of the time,, but I sure hope this ice melts fast! How's everyone else's weekend going?

It sounds like a reasonable goal on the surface, but it's hard to say with certainty. I know for me it can take awhile to lose those last few ponds. But commiting to 30 weeks of exercise and mindful eating will definitely yield positive results, even beyond the scale!

I've never tried Piyo - are there more benefits than doing yoga alone? I'm about as inflexible as they come :)

Congrats on the loss! My weight is finally starting to head in the right direction, and I'm hoping it continues. I'm experimenting with different carbs right now to see what influence it has on my weight, because I am getting tired of eating eggs! Just looking for the right balance.

I've gone back to weighing daily - my weight fluctuates anywhere from 2-4 pounds due to water retention, so I like to see what the weekly average is. I peeked at your diary, you're doing great! Trust that you're definitely doing all the right things to make progress (sometimes that scale is a liar!) :)

Hi all! I'm 44, 5'8 and need to lose about 15-20 pounds. Right now I'm running 3 times a week and adding in kettle bell and a "beginners" Jillian Michaels workouts for strength training. Training for my first half-marathon in April, and could use some support (still unsure what I was thinking but now I'm committed). I'd…
