Sometimes I have a REAL hard time with motivation. I just try to think that if I don't get up and get to the gym, that's one day farther away my goals are. Then I look for other things- like I'm going to the beach at the end of August....and going to a friend's party out of town in October...and the beach next summer…

I've also dealt with anxiety for a long time. I talked to someone about it and found ways to identify my triggers and they also helped wife with tools for how to assist me. Sometimes we all need just a little help.

How would I quantify "getting more toned up with about a month to go before I get to the beach"? I've given up on focusing on the number on the scale as far as weight. My goal is to look more fit and tone.

People at the gym would enjoy watching me do this routine. I'd do it one time, slip off the bar and hit my head for concussion #7 (or 8...I've lost count).
