currently it is: - Run 17 5Ks in 2017 (I think i've run 6 so far? Got 11 more to go in 3 1 /2 months LOL) - Drop down to 135-145lbs (which is about 60-70 lbs away) That's it so far...then I think by then i'll be fit enough to rejoin MMA again after an 8 year hiatus

I don't drink coffee but there were a couple of times this year where i was so exhuasted at work i was desperate. I put 4 packets of sugar and a couple of creamers. Coffee always tastes bitter or liked burnt beans and i dont like it LOL

im thinking about how i have this random headache, how im sore/tired/exhausted becuase i went to sleep at 1:30 am and had to get up at 6:30 am... I'm thinking I need a nap. I'm excited for my trip next month I'm thinking about how busy i am working and then going home to work on my business. No time for friends not that…

i dont know if you call this easy but make an egg scramble cup cake. Basically in a bowl mix egg beaters egg whites, shredded cheese, diced ham, sliced bell peppers or spinach or something like that, salt, pepper, tiny bit of egg. Whisk together. Bake in a cupcake cup tin...stick it in the oven at 375 until semi golden…

For example yesterday i walked 45 minutes on the treadmill and wore my fitbit. Fitbit synced to MFP and it said: 10,245 steps calories: 119 Then i logged it manually into Runkeeper which sync'd to MFP and it says right under the fit bit entry: Walking, 3.0 mph, mod pace calories: 152 So under exercise in MFP it says i…

I am where you are. I started working out again this week and i'm 5'6" and 98 KG. Currently my plan is to go run or run/walk everyday for 30+ minutes. I'm basically following a c25K program 3x a week and the other days I walk for about 1-2 miles which usually takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes. MFP put me at a 1200 calories…

Well the problem is I went running on monday and tuesday this week. I wore my fit bit. Naturally when i synced it to MFP it logged the steps. I also logged it into runkeeper if i'm running on a treadmill and it syncs to MFP too. Under excerise on MFP it shows both the caloric burn from my steps but also the caloric burn of…

Ok great. So i'll incorporate inclines, carries, climbs, monkey bar type of stuff and other grip stuff.

I just started working out again becuase i've gained about 60 lbs in the past 8 years since I took a break from MMA and martial arts overall. It sucks. I recently found a love for running races (5Ks are all i can handle right now). So I just started working out again this week and I've been running or run/walking for 30…

I will be doing a spartan sprint at some point in 2018. My question probably along with the OP is what type of obstacles are there? Like climbing? Carrying? Trying to get an idea of what to expect.
-
just follow MFP if you are not seeing the results then adjust accordingly.
-
Thanks! I'm going to make note of the site, hopefully the OP does too.
-
problem is i go running in the evenings and fitbit syncs the "steps". so do i just leave that as is or use my run keeper which syncs to my fitness pal and let it record the workout too or is that doubling?

If it were me, and I'm pretty clueless at gyms and what i should be doing but i usually bring a small notebook with me. Then I usually start with the machines i'm familiar with i.e. elliptical, stair master, treadmill etc. then I wander to the weight lifting machines. In the notebook, I'd make note about what type of…

Farthest for me is 3.2 miles :D and i got blisters after the first mile.

My Weekly lost rate is 2lbs/week. Should i just pay attention only to the 1200 and ignore everything else?
-
Some people like to dance...so they do that. I have always loved martial arts so I started doing that years ago and dropped 30lbs in 3 months. Then when i stopped MMA i gained like 60 lbs over an 8 year period. Now I started running races and i hate running but i love getting medals so we shall see how that goes. Find what…

Yep. If you exercise more you need to eat more to compensate. :hushed:
-
you should try the 100 pushups challenge http://hundredpushups.com/index.html
-
I know what you mean I used to be able to do 32 straight regular pushups years ago. I can barely even do 1 the regular way and can only do 10 the girly way. LOL
