  • SO EXCITING!!! Congratulations!! I am super happy for you!
  • May I ask why you allowed this to continue? 5 years, even on and off is a very long time.
  • I usually let any residual fat cool and dump it into the trash... We don't have a lot of residual fat though. :)
  • Crave...and attention. My fingers alway hit the wrong keys on this phone.
  • While I agree with your cousin to an extent....there are several factors at play. Not just attitude. You are correct that there are so many illnesses that can create havoc in someones life. It would make me angry that someone would come to me telling me their last therapist told them everything was their fault. Now some…
  • Bone broth, for sure.
  • Mosquitoes love me either way.....the feeling is not mutual.
  • I have felt that way the past couple of days. If i am hungry...i eat. But I makebsure it is meat ir eggs. Keep up the good work and don't stress about it too much!!
  • This is how I look at dating and "looks". The body is basically your wrapping paper...and to some people that paper is all that matters. But there are amazing men out there who realize there is much more to a person than the wrapping. Don't let that worry be your focus right now. You are on the right path and you are…
  • I hope you feel better..I am sorry about the short top message. Apparently i cant type and listen to my kids at the same time.... haha
  • Bone broth with butter and hwc put through a blender and you have a deliciously creamy soup. You could even puree veggies in with it if you like.
  • The only thing that kept me from losing it was cold turkey zero carb. I can walk away from brownies and bread.....i can make them for my kids with no problem. Honestly I know i will always have an addiction to carbs and sugar. I just have to stay away from my triggers.
  • I too have been thinking of starting a savings acct for my boobs and thighs. ( Probably tummy too!) Our insurance will pay ONLY if I had bypass surgery or lap band.....ridiculous in my opinion! I know it wont be cheap so probably need to start now.
  • I totally can not nap. Unless I am really feverishly sick. I have never been a napper. I dont understand it. :/
  • Yum....sounds so good. I also like bacon and avocado in a pinch! :)
  • I don't really bother with the macros. i just eat whatever meat, drink water and eat a veggie or two if i want them. I do log my food so there are few "hidden" carbs to trip me up. I lose and feel best on very low carb. Even 20 grams a day even from veggies can stall me for weeks.
  • I would have done nothing and started over the next day. But that is my personal lazy....i work fairly hard from morning to bedtime...i dont need any extra. ;)
  • I went through something similar after my first success with lc... I thiught i could be "normal". It took me realizing through several failed atttempts at other diets and gaining more weight rather than losing! Finally i went back to the only liveable way of eating for me...very low carb. I had to realize this is my…
  • I am sure others that have been around here longer are far more qualified BUT if you are eating low carb try upping your fat intake. Low calorie and low carb leaves me feeling unsatisfied and I do not lose as quickly or easily. I vary between a virtual zero carb diet and up to 20gms depending if i go out to eat with my…
  • All of the above plus a chef and a maid to clean up the keto mess!! >:) Well....it's just a dream. I'm the type who would clean before before the maid would come anyway!!! But the chef would be nice....of course we would have to win the mega millions. ;)
  • My advice is to stop with carbs all together. Give it a couple of weeks with very very low to no carbs. No frankenfoods. That will help get your cravings under control. If you are anything like me, even a diet soda can crank up my cravings, stay away from anything "sweet". Even when i attempt to add back certain veggies ,…
  • Please know that I am not being mean. I wasted years of my life overeating based on emotions and others actions.....rather than knowing they are fleeting and WILL pass. It is not worth it. I don't want anyone going down the same path I did. I wish one of my friends had screamed all of that in my face like a drill sergeant!…
  • Now is the time to pick yourself up and do what you need to do for you. People will come and go but you have to wake up and live in the same body every day. No more pity party...it is just an excuse to get unhealthier. Not worth it!!! Life can really stink sometimes....I have been there and we will all cycle through…
  • I <3 bone broth. I make ours in a pressure cooker so I don't have to smell it! I love to thaw a serving, heat it up, put it in the blender with butter, cream with spices. It's perfection. My husband and kids love it.
  • I will make it my goal to get 10,000 steps per day. Even if I have to do circles in my front yard at 8 P.M. :D
  • I am so sorry. We will be praying.
  • I try not to even sniff when I open my kids m&ms after we have done homework....oh my gosh. I know i dont want them...but the smell just makes me want to be bad. Lol. I don't want to cheat and if there are no options...i will not eat until there are. It isn't like i am starving. I could probably hibernate for a couple if…
  • I do not pay attention to calories. I eat when i am hungry and i eat gow much i want. I only know how much i take in because mfp logs them. Most days i am over 1200 some days i am just not very hungry.
  • My favorite is pepperoni and/or pickles. :) I love cheese but have to limit it.
  • Things will never change until we outlive all of them. ;) lol. Just kidding....really there are some people who refuse to believe that their way doesn't work for everybody. Some people do amazing on CICO but it doesnt satisfy me and took over a year to lose 20 pounds following it religiously and exercising daily. Mind you,…
