I know how you are feeling. I've lost 30-40 pounds and I have a real hard time *seeing* things. I do better with photos, but I really have to examine specific areas to see whats going on. You are not alone!

I just thought, I really hope you are not a renaissance scholar or something. The renaissance is great! just not for me;o)

I am in the states, but I know that you can plug in your zipcode and find geographic neighbors, but you have to wade through a bunch of people who never sign in;-/ I'm homeschooling my kid this year and we are learning a little about middle eastern history right now. It's much more interesting than the renaissance. I…

Are you still breastfeeding? (No judgement, my oldest lost interest shortly after a year and my youngest was still flashing the "milk" sign at me on occasion after two). Solids will help, but so will a formula bottle before bedtime. Try to keep that kid on a schedule. Up at the same time. Nap at the same time. Bed at the…

Hands down my favorite! I had this game until I was in my 20's. I have real chickens now and they don't like it when I try to play tik-tac-toe with them :/

Everyone is so nice here. @rosiegirl2010 we are right beneath you, just a boatride away from BC. It's a long boatride, but still. Nice to see someone geographically close to me I guess is what I'm trying to say. Anyway, 3/14 11,241 steps 4.81 miles only 8,190.45 miles left to go

I must confess, I cheat when it comes to calculating mileage. I got an older fitbit(onsale!) and it gives me a rundown on mileage that I have been checking in the morning. Here is a helpful link however: https://www.verywell.com/how-many-walking-steps-are-in-a-mile-3435916

Hi -I have arthritis in my right knee and when I started walking, I started with a very short duration (20 mins) only a couple times a week and I started doing gentle workouts where I could focus on strengthening. Jane Fonda has a couple of good workouts that I bought through Amazon. I have an arthritic shoulder also that…

I have decided I'm going to walk to Uluru! Only 8,229 miles from my city in Western Washington. My grandpa was stationed in New Guinea in the 40's and while he was convalescing, he explored a good portion of Australia. He never got to go back and I haven't really traveled at all, so I'm marching virtually;o) Only 8,220.18…

This is lovely. When I first started walking, my goal was one day a week for 20 straight minutes. I'm up to 4 days a week for 3.5miles each walk! Last week I had 56,168 steps! I would like to ask a question. How do you get step goals to fanciful places? I've almost completed the fitbit walk challenges and would like to…

I have a problem holding my breath when I do yoga sometimes because I'm unsure where to breathe during some of the moves. It can, at times, make me a little dizzy. I've found that breathing is important! :)

So my avatar is Jessica Fletcher and its because I miss my ma. She died a couple of years ago due to complications from diabetes. I guess she is my motivation. After she died, there was a stretch of time where all I did was watch Murder, She Wrote on Netflix because it reminded me of when I was a kid and we would watch M,…

Giving up diet coke was *way* harder than when I quit smoking. For reals.

Any Tom Cruise film: So, he plays this royal a-hole, then he runs. He redeems himself at the end so it's all okay.

All of these wonderful suggestions! What I have found works the best for me is three dates after my breakfast gets things moving. Four dates are too many! But three is just right.

While I do not have PCOS, my sister does and she has been through hell with doctors since the age of about 14. Telling her she was miscarrying when she would go to ER because her periods were so severe. Finally giving her an ultrasound and, Ohmygoodnes!, there is a huge cyst sitting in there. PCOS sucks. What I wanted to…

@notalice87 I so know how you are feeling. Big hug. Exercise really does help me with my depression. I watch Murder, She Wrote and walk. Sometimes it's better than therapy. I will be walking and tears will run down my face. I ugly cry all the way through my walk. But I walked. And I always feel better after a walk.
