I did my 16:8 fast yesterday. Actually I think it turns into more of 20:4 as I had a bit of stomach upset. I only ate one meal also. So way under in calories and woke up hungry this morning. But after eating breakfast at about 9/10 I wasn't hungry again until 7pm. So that was a positive.

I use Splenda but I only have 1-2 packets a day. But I've been reading more about the erythritol and I'm going to look for that. I also bought some stevia in the raw for a recipe. I started at the under 100 mark. Did that about a month or so. So I could get used to what to eat and what not. Then I cut to 50. Then 40, 30 and now I try to stay at about 20 net carbs. I thought it would be impossible. I'm surprised how well I've been making the adjustments. Keep up the good work.

I've been thinking of trying chia seeds. Been seeing a lot of mention of them for fiber and such. I'll have to try to find them.

Only at the end of week 3. Lost 6 lbs the first 2 weeks. This week haven't lost but I am trying to tweak my diet.

I am also having issues right now with water retention. I can't drink tea or coffee after 4 or I'm up all night from the caffeine.

Yeah I've never had bp problems but since I've gained weight I retain water more. I haven't in the couple weeks I've been doing Keto though and I've increased my salt intake.

Feel free to add me. I just recently started a low carb high fat diet. This is the longest I have stuck to a diet in a year and it is working. Love to get tips and motivation.

I recently started following the Keto diet which is high fat low carb. I would recommend watching the documentary 'Fat Head' as it describes the since behind the diet. So far I've had success. I've had to tweak some things but am still learning. Good luck.
