Thanks for all the wonderful feedback. My doctor hasn't set a protein limit yet but I am trying to be proactive with the diet because I've read that you can't bring those GFR rates back up once they start to drop and my BUN and CREAT both went up into the danger zone within the last 6 months. The doc wants me to come back…

In regards to being a realist I realistically believe you need to carve out some dedicated time for fitness to be successful with your goals. You will burn some calories doing household chores but for real results you need to get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes. Feel free to add me if you want motivation. :smile:

I exercise early in the morning because it's the only time i can fit it in. The other advantage is i am burning cals while i sit at my desk job.
