  • Happy Monday!!! My weekend was great in terms of working out and being active but diet wise I give myself a C+. On Saturday I ate two out of three meals out so my calorie calculations are not as precise as I would want them to be. Also, I drank beer yesterday which was my only cheat. Moving on with the new week. My trainer…
  • Perfect quote for me today. Thanks MoonKat7. I was a bit sluggish today. I was considering a day off. This helped me get my butt on the stairmaster. Eyes on the ball
  • any low impact ideas? I could go to a public pool a couple days a week but I'd prefer to do stuff at home. [/quote] How about bike or shadow boxing?
  • Hello all. I hope you had a nice day today. I am ending the day at 1654kcals. I was hungry all day today maybe due to heavy lifting yesterday but I am still short of my 1800 goal. I went over on carbs by 10g. Who knew pickles have so many carbs. I got in a 30 min run and 30min bike ride. I hope to see a 4 at te end of my…
  • Good tip. I didn't know that. Thanks. Read it just in time as I was ready for my snack in form of walnuts
  • Moonkat7, I don't really have an answer to that. I know I should. If it were someone else I would have told them to go see a doctor stat. And yet I am procrastinating on doing that hoping it'll magically go away. It sounds ridiculous. I'll go...soon Thanks for serving as a voice of reason
  • It depends. I read that it may take about two weeks for your body to get used to low carb diet. My body loves keto. I did not have any negative effects. I made sure I made my food salty and drank a LOT of water though. Hopefully, it is the same for you, Rosey
  • Body weight in cheese. Been there done that LOL
  • I had an exemplary day today. I stayed on point with calories and macros. I had an awesome 3lb loss weigh in, and lifted heavy (for me). First time did a 100lb deadlift. Overall a good day. Hope you ladies had a good day as well
  • Sorry to hear that. Injuries can have a very demorilizing effect especially if they prevent you from doing what you love. I have been dealing with the same thing for over a year. I am too stubborn (or stupid) to go see a doctor so I've been avoiding things that cause pain. I hope physio starts working for you.
  • I have got 40lb to lose. I am doing keto at 70% fat, 25% protein and 5% carbs. I have been slacking off with my portion control so the weight is not coming off as it should. I want to zero in on that; log everything and weigh my food instead of eye-balling my serving sizes. I hope joining this thread will help me stay…
  • Hi! I'd like to join the group if there's room.
