Hi there. I'm Ben. I started my journey at over 340lbs at the start of May this year. It's now November 27th and I'm down to 286lbs. I've also signed up with some friends to a group race thing which involves running 20 Miles and 200 obstacles. I'm starting running practice for it tommorow! So yeah I'm on a 100lb and over…

I guess I need some more patience as well as more accurate counting

Been lifting for around 4 months. Only recently started 5x5 though and the gains are more.

Yes I realise they still have calories but being around 500 calories under what this app recommends I thought it was ok. Maybe I mentally didn't want to up my "limit" for fear of backwards progress... perhaps just being a bit more stringent with my counting would be best

Hmm in the last 2 months probably around 15 lbs

Ok done

A couple of weeks

Which is under what I should be doing but I'm comfortable at this range. I weigh my food yes. But I don't count salad or veg. Not sure on how to open my diary??

Yes I'm on 1500 to 1700 a day the larger amount on lifting days

Ok scrap that. I'm 131 kg so just over 20 stone... so my bmr is 2352. Turns out the scales at work are dodgy lol. So is a 2k calorie per day diet still a bit too much? How heavily should I rely on that bmr number

My bmr is 2665 according to that calculator. Still seems quite high though if I want to lose weight?
