I'm quite limited because of medical problems too. I'm starting on going to water aerobics. It's very low impact but a surprisingly goo way to use all sorts of muscles.

Did you end up with a lot of loose saggy extra skin after loosing all the weight? I have 80-100 lbs to loose and I'm worried about ending up with extra saggy skin. If you did have that happen, did you get surgery to remove it or what?

I have had similar problems with being tired and feeling depressed and having a hard time with exercise. I find that working on small steps to do better is the best way to not be overwhelmed by it. You feel disgusting because you're 5 pounds over weight? I'm about 100 lbs over weight... It sounds to me like you should worry about something else and give yourself credit for being within a few lbs of your goal weight.

So pain causes elevated cortisol levels? Is it only acute pain or do you think that because I suffer from chronic pain that I would always have elevated cortisol problems? That sounds like one more factor working against me.

When I get tired of chicken, I use turkey instead. I like frozen turkey burgers... Cook a few at a time to use for when you can't cook later.
