Open the my fitness pal app. Then hit ...more and under there you get a bunch of options. Choose Apps& devices. Polar will be an option in that screen. Follow the steps and it should work. Mines been syncing for the last week or so.

I received my Polar M499 in the mail. I prefer cycling over running and I love this watch. GPS built in because I don't have a smart phone(I know, behind times).
