  • I really like Rip and SS. I follow Rip on youtube. Wish I was able to do SS. I've been a fan of these kinds of programs since my football days and studying Bill Starr. I'm not really suppose to be doing any squats or deads because of the shape my back is in (several bulging discs, bone spurs, and pinched nerves from hips…
  • The weird naked old men in the lockerroom. Not sure why they need to be naked, with a towel over their shoulder after drinking coffee for 2 hours. People in the free weight room. Gym is a big healthcare complex. Doctors offices, pool, local college basketball amd volleyball teams play there. Free weight room is tiny. No…
  • I have had a sports based lifting past. After injuries and life getting in the way I started over with SL5X5 (after 10 years off). Bought the app and run the program by that. I don't really get much into what Mehdi ("creator" of the program) does or says. The style of workout has been around for a long, long time and it…
  • Ehhh if we want to act like educated adults we should have a clue what the terminology means. As far as the Fox News comment, not a fan of any talking head morons. I form my opinions on life experience and education. And honestly if someone is shooting at you you're not going to be too concerned whether it is a musket, an…
  • No. You can't go out tomorrow and buy an assault rifle unless you're doing so illegally. You can buy something that looks like an assault rifle but isn't. I hope you don't think ar15 stands for anything having to do with assault. The AR is a nod to the original manufacturer. I hope you don't listen to what ignorant people…
  • No. Just no. Squats in the smith machine? I'm almost afraid to even lean on the smith machine out of fear it'll try to force my ROM in an unnatural manner.
  • Looks like there may have been a small update that "fixed" things that weren't broken.
  • Yep. The dashboard for each, MFP and Fitbit, do have that option. Look for Apps on the MFP dashboard on the website. On the Fitbit website, login and click on the settings gear by your name. You'll be able to see connected apps under Applications.
  • End of may 2015 to current, men's 46 or 48 at around 360lbs. Currently in a 38 or 40 at 275ish.
  • A lot of what CT says motivates me. I'm not the type to want happy/cheery types when I'm working out. I've worked with a few trainers and physical therapists, aalways tell them I'm looking for someone to push me. I don't want pity and I'm not giving any excuses.
  • If I'm unusually active I would definitely eat more, even if I thought i could go without. I don't go crazy and I'll keep it fairly clean, maybe have something I normally don't if it works with my macros.
  • I like CT Fletcher (big fan of the no BS attitude) and the HodgeTwins. Gotta have some BroScience for the laughs (same with Lord Keith and Lord Kevin). I really like Derek Weida, just wish he'd do more videos.
