meal prep is my best friend. I work a desk job and it was so easy to just run to the break room grab a bunch of junk and go back to sitting on my butt for the next 4 hours till lunch. By doing meal prepping I set aside about 2 hours of my day on Sunday and make my breakfast and lunches for the week. (egg muffins/breakfast…

I actually go in the morning before work (4:30am... yikes), but it's the only way I can make sure that i'm not "too tired" or "too busy" or "something came up". Motivation can be external but for the most part it comes from inside of you. Take a picture of yourself where you're not hiding and hang it somewhere you will see…

She has the right to her opinion as does anyone, and my opinion is that she's a B**ch. There are other ways to say things to motivate people than telling them how worthless they are. A lot of people got to be overweight because they ALREADY felt bad about themselves... so not really helping much.

With the weight I've lost so far I've had ice cream, cake, brownies, cookies, etc... It's all about calories in and calories out so if you have enough wiggle room in your diet then eat it. If you don't? Work out and make that wiggle room. (Just be careful with MFP exercise calories, I only log about 1/2 of the calories it…

When you boil it down to calories in vs calories out... everything seems a little easier. Grab a food scale and make sure that you are documenting everything as correctly as possible... Remember when you cheat your numbers you are really cheating yourself so be as honest as possible. I've done the fad diets and lost a lot…

also... fun fact... I use to only date clean shaven guys, then I met my husband and I was like... nope I like beards... I definitely like beards. We are fickle creatures us ladies.

A guy that is confident in whatever body type he has. But my dream guy varies between Tall with lean muscle and Tall, bearded and built like a lumberjack (Oppie from Sons of Anarchy). I'm not a fan of the big muscles, but I'm pretty sure most of those guys aren't fans of me either. So we'll just steer clear of each other.…

Good morning, Thanks for sharing your stories. It really does help to not feel so alone in the struggle. Sometimes I feel as if there is such a stigma from having depression and anxiety that I actually hide it most of the time. Taking the medication has never worked for me either, however I've only tried 2-3 my entire…

I'm sexy in a girl next door kind of way.... well if that girl next girl was an undercover punk rocker chick. I'm still working on the confidence thing, but I feel sexier. And in the end that is what matters.

My husband has a swing shift similar to this with a rotating morning to night schedule and the only way I can keep him on track is to make sure his lunches and dinners (during night shifts) are planned out. I see you have a little one does this help contribute to the lack of sleep. I have two and I know it's almost…

Luckily I will be on the lake for this 4th so out of range of things that will kill me. lol. I have chicken packed for the grill with some veggies that way I can stay on track... I won't die though if I happen to sneak a hot dog off my sisters plate. No way I'm getting 9500 calories though. That guy was amazeballs.

I worked there as a teenager and hated it for a while, but after 10 years I think I've fallen back in love. I use it for some lunch days. I always get the 6" Turkey on wheat with no cheese. Mustard, lettuce, onions, green peppers, and cucumbers and you can ask them to hollow out the bread and it saves you about 50 calories.

Fry and Bender. OMG I love it.

whether a troll or just a person still hung up on the issue, this is just sad. If this was my husband I would have been upset too but I definitely would have addressed it before it got that far. Hope this is a joke and someone really isn't that blind about the Trainer/Trainee relationship boundaries.

For me the water helps me feel more full between meals, and it helps to wash out any of the excess sodium in my system. I've also heard that cold water helps start your metabolism. But mostly I think it just helps control the water weight.

Just don't let yourself stress out too much about it. Food is not the enemy, you have a lot of options to switch around your day to accommodate your new lunch plan if it is something that is important to you. Like the posters stated above a great option would be the burger without the bun, watermelon, and half the cookie.…
