Same here. Started at 252, decided to give it time and lose slow, lost 50 lbs in a year and a half. Now I am at 202 and I'd give anything to get under 200 but the scale doesn't seem to be moving anymore.

1- I can't emphasis enough how important it is for you to stay hydrated if you don't want the loose skin. Drink as much H2O as you can, it doesn't matter if you are thirsty or not, just drink. 2- Take it slow with the weight loss, try not to lose more than 1/2 Kg per week. 3- Lift. I know I didn't add anything to what…

Hi Lizz. You say you know how to eat healthy but the problem is actually doing it, right? What I am going to tell you is not a very popular opinion here but turst me it works, it worked for me. What you need to do before changing your eating habits is changing your unhealthy habits, meaning if you eat a lot outside, try to…

I don't know, I lost about 50 lbs and I never concerned myself with my carbs intake. I just make sure I am getting enough protein, potassium, fiber and that I am not too low on fat and that I am not getting too much soduim. I always thought it's the calories that count not whether they come from carbs, protein or sugar.…

I did 800 and 900 for some time, so yes 1200 is do-able but not practical and it's not easy and you will have no energy for most of the day and you will get dizzy getting up or even sitting down! It's not how you want to feel, trust me. You won't necesserily have to feel hungry on a 1200 cal diet, because you can get even…

That's why I sleep early and wake up early (not a night owl, it's 9.43 am here). Anyways, stay strong. You know you are not really hungry, just bored probably. If you weren't about to sleep I would have suggested drinking some water.

Good thing I always wear sleevless tops/shirts when I work out then. As my arms are the place I want to lose fat from the most lol

I workout 3 days a week (30 mins cardio and 60 mins strength training each) and on the off days I more often than not do 15-30 mins aerobics. I don't add my exercises here so I have my mfp set to lightly active, I guess that even things out. As for the nutrition values, I am no expert but I am setting mine to 50% carbs 25%…

Bananas are good for you. As long as you fit them within your daily cals limit, you will be fine.

Yes. You start measuring to see if you have lost inches, it's way more accurate than the scale. Plus, you can actually lose fat without going down on the scale, and you can go down on the scale without losing fat; only muscle and water. So measuring is the way to go, yes.

First, don't cut out ANYTHING you like completely, because it doesn't matter how great it works for you now, sooner or later it's going to backfire. Try to fit everything in your daily calories goal, and as long as you maintain a calorie deficit you will lose weight. But if you still have a craving for something specific…

I am 24 and have about 40 lbs to lose ( I am 206 now and my goal is 166) I am 5'4, and I am in no hurry to drop those extra pounds. My start weight was 252 lbs and I lost those 46 pounds in about a year and a half! I am new here and this is my first post so I don't really know how this works but if anyone wants a weight…
