Thank you everyone for your HELPFUL suggestions and tips. They are really appreciated. I have just found out that I have physio on Tuesday so will take all the suggestions with me to the appointment to see what ones they recommend.

Of course I want to work with a physio etc but in the UK there is a waiting list on the NHS (which I am on). I just want alternative suggestions and using an arm bike is definitely a good one as that would just involve the upper body and get my heart rate going.
