My next mini goal is to get back in the 120s (I was 0.1lbs off last weigh in...boo!) I'm also upping my running mileage. Used to do 13 miles on a Saturday for fun and now need to push hard to get to six. Thinking of signing up to a race for motivation.

Thanks all...I have an old Forerunner, so will have a look! Will also check out Polar and Fenix. It's not often I get to buy a fancy new gadget and be able to justify it for the sake of my relationship!

Hi betssr, I agree with the above. Boiled eggs are a must for me. Cheap meals I have are omelettes (these are fine cold too), bean chillis, chickpea and spinach curry and rice. I find the benefit of calorie counting is that you don't necessarily need to fork out for expensive meats like other diets...you can just eat less…
