Holy crap.

One thing I wonder is how often are these people weighing themselves after they lose the weight? Since I got my own place and have a scale in the bathroom it's become a ritual. My weight gain the beginning of this year did not stop me from weighing myself, at worst i'd be like "damn, 220 again?" and huff and maybe eat a…

Your foot moves a hell of a lot more than your chest/bra. Both your bra and your waistband are going to move with your torso so they are going to give you the accurate result here.
-
You did it once you can do it again  And with a more experienced mindset now

here you go http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-wear-my-One

This exactly. Those things are calibrated for wherever you're supposed to put them. The wrist ones are calibrated for wrist movement and those other ones i think just need to be attached to your torso somehow. But definitely not to your feet.

Congratulations! In other related news, was at Macy's and decided to check out some Dockers. I usually get D4's (relaxed fit) for my big ol' booty but i tried out some D3's (classic fit) and they fit great! Wearing them now :sunglasses:

Yes. Gotta love Guinness, 155 calories in one of those tall 14.9 oz cans. Also supposedly it's got more healthy minerals and crap than other beers, according to questionably reliable internet sources.
-
heh, I don't think this is what you meant

I always smile and wave to people I see when out on a run. Most of the time they smile and wave back. As for being embarrassed at trying to become more fit, I used to have that fear but i've found it to be mostly unfounded. I've found most people are happy to hear about/see your progress and are supportive.

What if i just want to eat some buttered/salted zucchini noodles? Is that something in the realm of feasibility?
-
I've wanted to try them for a while just haven't gotten around to it. So you don't have to cook them? just warm them up?

I'm on my 2nd round of P90x3. My initial intent was to stick with it for a year but I may switch it up. Yeah this is similar to my experience. My current weight loss attempt was sparked by my confidence in being able to stick to these routines. I've done my first push up and my first pull up thanks to p90x3. Also it got me…

Yeah exactly. It's unfair that people think it's a cakewalk for guys. If this is the case then why are there just as many overweight men?
-
Yeah that's a thing that happens on a lot of forums. Only about half the people are there for the thing the forum is "about". The rest have just grown to like the community. A lot of people on here don't "use" MFP.
-
It's going to be different for every person and is still heavily reliant on factors outside of the weight loss itself. Working on the way that you think about yourself will go a long way. Parts of it will just "happen", other parts you'll need to catch yourself when you start to think self-deprecating thoughts.

Just saying: * The exercise will help with the anxiety * Doing something almost right is better than not trying it at all
-
Do these help keep you full with the added protein? If so I'll have to have a go at some of these.
-
Ah yes I did get a couple cheap charger cords so I could do this as well.
-
And if you were then there'd be nothing to improve and where's the fun in that?
-
Omg, finally someone else who has done it multiple times in a day. mid-day fluctuations ftw! Ok i lied here is another person LOL. Hi!

His profile says 20. I got mistaken for being young too before i took people's advice and grew my face hair out, so I feel your pain OP.

Even if you weren't exercising the answer would be yes https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10142490/a-list-of-calorie-dense-foods/p1 There are vegan-friendly foods on this list. Are there things you can put onto the veggies you eat to increase the calorie count?
-
lol actually I gravitate more to the individually wrapped snacks now, since it's much easier to scan and log them. But if you are trying to cut some of these foods completely out, maybe learning to eat them in moderation might help. I would find it hard to control myself around those Little Debbie Nutty Bars but I bought a…

You have some choices:* Try to log each item as you get it to the best that you can estimate, rounding up for some inaccuracy "buffer", you could call it. * Take a picture of each plate you eat then try to figure it out later. * Log it as one huge calorie entry * Don't log it, as long as this isn't something that happens…

I didn't have to, but the system might have missed its cue or something so this might help.

I used to binge when I got really stressed at work but have picked up a loose leaf tea habit which has fit the bill nicely. My problem since i started logging in MFP is when I go to my parents' house, which is stocked with nothing but snack cakes half the time. That and the fact that I usually just end up sitting down and…

I think i had lost maybe around 20 lb or so when it reduced mine but i'm not exactly sure. What is your height/weight/loss rate goal and what is MFP giving you as calorie goal?
-
Yeah I'm not an expert but 1300 sounds about right. Usually going below 1200 or 1000 is when you are going too low. And 2 lb/week is a good loss rate if you've got a lot to lose. Some say cut it back once you get closer to your final goal weight but that is up to the individual.
-
1300 for a woman is not unreasonable, but we need more stats about you, height, weight, etc.
