I've always been a morning person, but if I wasn't I wouldn't try to do things before work/school. Easier said than done though I guess.
-
Hah, as someone who skips dinner a lot of the time this is what I'd do, but it's not the solution for everyone.
-
Congrats keep it up!

I have this issue with food prepared in restaurants since the calorie/nutrition given is often not accurate given the way the food is prepared. So for something like numbers given by Chipotle's nutrition calculator I log it as 1.5 servings.

If calories burned is what you're most interested in, most people around here have had luck with the FitBit calorie adjustment given by the FitBit Charge HR. It might not be 100% accurate but usually it tends to err on the side of underestimation. I did the CVX cardio with weights P90x3 workout with both a Charge HR in…

The only real difference it the calorie content of each. If you don't want to take on a bunch of excess calories drink black coffee.

This 100% If you lose weight, do it for you. Take care of yourself to help you feel better in this *kitten* situation.
-
Congratulations on accomplishing your goal! Why have you decided not to eat meat?
-
Try to be more specific with exactly what you mean by "tone" before people come in picking at your semantics. Do you want to lose fat in certain areas? or make skinny areas more muscle-y?
-
No. The changes that have worked for me are the ones where i make a small change i can make a definite in my life. One day I said "i am gonna eat whatever i want, but i'm going to log it to the best of my ability". It's worked out much better than i expected

Anything in a lighter roast, though sometimes I'll drink a darker roast brewed at a higher oz setting to weaken it some

This makes me feel better about not having done mine yet. I'm more concerned with the calorie burn. Do you eat back all of your fitbit calorie adjustment?
-
What do you call the diet where you log in MFP and just count calories?
-
6'1" SW 220 CW 184 GW 170 14 lb until i get there. this is where it gets more frustrating. but on the other hand the closer you get you seem to want it more
-
This is still on my to-do list (have you seen the way to do it here? https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10098937/faq-syncing-logging-food-exercise-calorie-adjustments-activity-levels-accuracy/p1), so I would like to know also

I do have pictures on my profile now if you would like to see how mine have changed during weight loss.
-
I totally agree. There are those who might not feel hungry enough to eat after a week though is all I'm talking about.
-
MFP logging + FitBit Charge HR + Withings Scale + TrendWeight.com + P90x3 (just doing the workouts not any of the other stuff, please don't hurt me ) I think i've got it this time

Artificial sweeteners are cancer/make your body forget how to process sugar/make you fat
-
Sure. It may be a while until I get around to it though, and honestly my tastes differ from most but I will try!
-
oh man that sounds delicious. I bought some stuff to maybe try my hand at low calorie nutella :yum:
-
If your calorie intake for the day is at a dangerously low level it might be a good idea to eat them back at some point.
-
I get more anxious not knowing exactly what my weight is. I'm one of those "i need to know" kind of people.
-
if you're ok with carbs being higher then go for some bread/grain kind of stuff. Maybe pretzels? Rice?
-
True. Forgive my lose-centricity, I generally try to keep both sides in mind.
-
Honestly as long as you are staying centered on your goal weight your variance can be whatever you want it to be. All you want to look out for is an upward trend that doesn't stop.
-
This was going to be my plan. If I read it correctly once you get to your goal TrendWeight will help you keep the trend in a 5lb range centered on your goal weight.
-
I replaced my work stress eating habit with a tea habit. Works out nicely

I actually had sorta the opposite happen last year. There was an 8k i was really excited for but I got there too late and missed it :(

Made some almond butter in my BlendTec and loved it. I'm not even a huge fan of almonds. I got a BlendTec twister jar so i can make all kinds of crazy stuff. It's going to be fun.
