Depends on the source of those 1500 calories. If they are from starch and sugar-rich foods, no. Set macronutrient grams on a macro calculator. Stay at 25g or less of fibrous carbs, 25-30g protein, and the rest to satiety, of fat. Do not eat to the max macro on fat unless you are still hungry.
