This is why I get frustrated. A great day yesterday, ate healthy, made it to aqua fit and walked my 7,000 steps - yet I gained a pound. Trying not to let it derail me and staying positive for a better number tomorrow. Day, Weight, Comment 3/13 - 313.2 3/14 - 314.2 3/15 - 3/16 - 3/17 - 3/18 - 3/19 - 3/20 - 3/21 - 3/22 -

Ok, so this is the first day of round one for me and I am feeling hopeful. I resisted the urge to hit the McDonald's drive thru this morning after driving my husband to work (my normal routine lately). Instead I came home and made a healthy breakfast with some turkey bacon, oatmeal and grapefruit. One challenge at a time!…

I am a newbie and excited to this give this a try and see if it motivates me. I have stopped and started so many times. I always start very motivated and after a week fall back into my old habits. Maybe only focusing on 10 day increments is what I need. SW RND 217 3/13 3/14 3/15 3/16 3/17 3/18 3/19 3/20 3/21 3/22

weight in day : Wednesday PW - 308 CW - 310 A rough few days. I have allowed life to overwhelm me and I got distracted and lost motivation. I had lunch with a good friend today who helped me get my motivation back. She reminded me of how much I do for everyone around me but how important it is to make time to do for…

I keep telling myself that I need to do that. My scale is moving slowly but I can feel the difference in my body and the way my clothes fit me and I think seeing the numbers change will be motivating. I am pledging now that on Wednesday when I do my official weigh in - I will also take measurements. I like this idea!

Good job team!!! I've been struggling the last few days to stay motivated. This always happens to me after the first few weeks. I know I need to push through it and stay focused. On a positive note I have noticed my step count is getting higher every day. I used to struggle just to get 6,000 steps / day and now I am always…

I was feeling guilty this morning for not going to my aquafit class (snowy roads) but I think I probably got a better workout shoveling my driveway. Uhgg … winter!

Today at work someone noticed the weight that I have lost. It was a great NSV moment and nice to hear that my hard work is showing. Definitely a motivator to keep going.

I would love to be part of this. Right now I try to aim for 6,000 steps per day but as my knees get stronger I hope to increase that. How exactly does it work - do we just post on here at the end of each week with our step for each day?

So far the first few days of January have gone well - and I have mostly kept to healthy food choices. I have found myself still giving in to cravings and falling back to some of my old bad habits but each day it feels easier. I am starting to realize that I need to occasionally allow myself to indulge in a small treat like…

Hi everyone, I’m Cheryl. I’m 50 and from Ontario, Canada (near Toronto). I have used MFP before but have never been part of this type of challenge. I’m excited about it and hope it keeps me motivated. I am at the highest weight I have ever been (315lb) and know that I need to do something. I have severe osteoarthritis in…

Good morning from snowy Canada, I am viewing today as my first "official day" back with MFP after a long time away. I did my weight this morning and only 2lbs more than what I was anticipating - could be worse. I am feeling very motivated and spent time this morning organizing my fridge / freezer with some healthier foods.…

I have set a reward goal where I will buy a new pair of earrings for every 10lbs I lose. Nothing too expensive but when I wear them I will remember the hard work I put into getting them. I will also give myself a bigger reward at the milestones. At 25 lbs I will treat myself to a pedicure, at 50 lbs to a facial at 75 lb to…
