I have the Charge HR too and I sync it to MFP. I find it very helpful.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroid when I was 8 years old. I am now 40. I have moved around New England a few times in my adult life and have had knowledgeable and not so knowledgeable doctors. I am back to working with a great doc who checks my levels every 3 months. I have been in a great range for a couple of years and…

There is a very obvious difference between the two pics. Great job!

I'm excited to say that I am down to 195.6 lbs. as of this morning. If I can get there, you all can get there. Keep up the good work!!!

Congratulations Cindy! I'm so happy to hear that you and your family are making wonderful memories thanks to your hard work and desire to be a healthier version of yourself. Keep it up, you are amazing!!!!

Brussels sprouts sauteed with bacon, in bacon fat. One of life's little pleasures.

Losing inches is terrific, just keep at it. If you have any questions feel free to ask, many of us here have been around a while.

If you're having success with your weight loss goals I wouldn't worry too much about cutting carbs. I personally have been limiting my carbs lately but you don't have to limit carbs to lose weight. Focus on staying within your calorie goal. Of course, adding additional veggies or beans and also nuts and seeds are great…

I've been enjoying lchf so I'm back to pork rinds dipped in guacamole.

Copied from another thread because @SueInAz is dead on: SueInAz wrote: » Potassium pills are a waste of money. The highest concentration available is 99 mg and the daily recommended allowance is so far beyond that it's laughable. Part of the problem you are experiencing is that potassium is not a required nutrient on the…

@tophat62 AKA Sara, you are awesome!!!!

There were several times in the past where I would stop at the McDonald's or Taco Bell drive through and eat an entire meal then go home and ate a meal with my family.

Congratulations!!!! You look so happy and healthy. I did the same thing last year. Ordered a dress in January that fit well at the time, started losing weight in March. By August I had lost enough that they couldn't take it in enough and ended up returning it toward a NEW dress that I loved even more. Have a wonderful time…

@XnRGrandpa You are awesome!!!!!!!! Congratulations B) :) B) :)

Phew! as I had hoped I'm down to 199lbs today. I know I didn't lose 1lb of fat overnight so I am clearly retaining some fluid. Keeping my tracking on point and eating healthy. Have an awesome day!!

Aceslufame Potassium is also an artificial sweetener. (sorry if too many items were bolded)

Welcome! September is very doable, indeed.

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to check in with an update. I am just getting over being sick for 2 weeks and not being able to exercise. During that time I took a lot of over the counter cold medicine and am sure I ate some things that didn't make it to my diary. As of today I am back at 200lbs on the nose. It…

I have used them as part of my breakfast off and on for a long time. I prefer plant based protein powders, my current fave is a Designer Protein essential 10 Belgian Chocolate. Since I started limiting my carbs I like to have one before I work out because it has some carbs balanced with plenty of fiber as well as great…

Not enough to stress about. One overindulgence will not undo all of the hard work you've been doing. As others have suggested, you should try to work some chocolate into your daily or weekly goals so you don't feel deprived.

Just to clarify, I am not insinuating that you have an eating disorder, but that your body may not be giving you the cues you need right now.

As was mentioned above, high calorie/nutrient dense but low volume foods are a great way to start. Maybe try to have full fat versions of low fat foods you enjoy so you get a few more calories without changing the servings. If you like protein powder in your morning smoothie try adding a bit more. Experiment with different…

Every day, just for the information. I track it so that I have the ongoing graph but I don't report it on my newsfeed every day. I have disabled that option and only turn it on when I have a good loss.
-
I have been topping my scrambled eggs with it lately. It's sooooooooo good.
-
I like to weigh myself every day. I know that in the past I have obsessed over the numbers but now I simply like being able to see how different foods or changes in exercise effect my weight. I track it every day but only enable it to show up on my news feed once or twice a week.

You are awesome!!! I saw a funny meme: Sweat is fat cells crying. Keep sweating, it's totally worth it.

0.4lbs is such a small gain, you clearly did great! That little bit of water weight will be gone by tomorrow.
-
I second that. There is no way you are enough 8n 3 days to gain 11 lbs of fat. Increase your water and watch your salt for a couple of days and you will see it come off.
