My poor brother is super allergic to gluten. Like, the docs were thinking Leukemia because he was so tired, his bones ached and he was so thin. Now that he doesn't eat it any more (and it's in the stupidest stuff like freaken soy sauce) he is doing much better. So I'm a fan of it for people who need to eat it for medical…

Yes this^ Tell you that you don't want to talk about your body or your weight and you will leave if she starts. And then follow through. Either hang up or just walk out. Don't come back if she says "I'll stop talking about it now" Nope that day's visit/conversation is over. Just because she is your mom doesn't mean she has…

There's a thing called Moleskin- it's sticky on one side and soft on the other. When I interned at Disney, the one Jasmine was allergic to her necklace so we covered the back of it with Moleskin.

I was with friends once and I think someone tried to heckle us- they shouted "you dropped something!" but when we looked no one has dropped anything.....

Have you tried adding peanut butter?

rather than just your regular doctor ask for a recommendation to a nutritionist (or if they stare at you blankly, call your health insurance company and ask them for one). Many health insurances cover them and they can help you a lot since they are specialized.

If you aren't hungry in the morning, great, do it. If you are and skipping causes you to massively overeat at lunch, may not so much. I am not a morning eater, but I bring PB toast to work with me and at 10ish when I am hungry I eat it.

I got it and have had no issues at all.

omg, this post made me miss Southern Cookin', a restaurant we used to have. That southern, black lady made the BEST darn food. The cornbread would come with its own little silver cup of melted butter.......hmmmmmmm So good!

A little before and a little after. Nuts and a piece of fruit beforehand and PB or Nutella Toast and Coffee afterwards.

Unless i know the person REALLY well, like they have told me they are trying to lose weight, I never mention it out of fear it is a side effect of something terrible (like the OP said). Or I don't want people to think I am looking at them like a creeper!

my nutritionist told me to eat fruit with a protein to avoid that happening. Cheese, nuts, egg, slim jim, what have you. Which for me is a great reason to eat eggs, which I LOVE!

Have you tried mixing the beef and turkey half and half? Or bison? It tastes much more like beef without the fat.

I think it's great! It gets people out and moving! I saw a funny meme a couple days ago, it said something like "Michelle Obama tried for 6 years to get people to exercise, Nintendo did it in one week!"

I would be afraid that my body would go into 'starvation mode' and gain weight when I started eating normal again because it's not sure of when it will not get enough food again. Some Dr or another told me that when you restrict to much, your body freaks out and will try to store fat to protect itself against the future. I…

omg, please do not do the barefoot running thing. There's a reason we made shoes in the first place. You can get parasites, fractured bones, cuts and bruises as well as screw up your arch. Walking around barefoot in your backyard sure, go for it. But running or exercising barefoot is just asking for an injury.
