under calorie goal! good day.

I'm really sorry to hear about these experiences. My perspective is slightly different. I am an identical twin, and I grew up (and still experience) stares and comments for it. When my sister and I are out together, you would think the circus was in town! I would hate to be famous. With that in mind, I assume that any time…

I use bottled water, the 23.something size. In the morning, I get 3 bottles out and lay them out for the day, so I know when I got my water in. I also drink green tea, a few cups a day, but I don't count those. (Just so I don't interfere with my system.) I use bottled water because I gave up diet coke, and I'm used to…

My name is Peg. My picture is me from 5 years ago, at a class reunion. I have another reunion this year, and I'm almost back down to that weight.

I'd love to hear more about cize as you work through the program! 2.5 miles so far today, and clocked my time at the park - 19-minute miles.

TGIF and happy to be here!

pretty good day, under calories, but still need more fruits and veggies.

short walk due to rain this morning, but got to jazzercise this evening.

Love the jeans victories!

Not too bad, good and under today.

5.83 miles today! 12,500 steps. (about 3k was at the mall...does trying clothes on count as an activity?) Hard to believe that last year at this time I was walking less than 500 steps a day. (my first serious fitness goal was 2000 steps a day.)

Thanks everyone, I'll just keep on keeping on 25 or not. So my mini goal: I've been on sort of a plateau since January, so I have to re-focus anyway, but what happens, happens. In that case, my mini-goal is to average 10k steps a day for the month of April. (I was doing that last December, but fell off a bit.)

I like your little butterfly! Here!

I was in your situation last year, in fact it was a big motivator to lose weight. However, I went to the wedding (all 340 pounds of me) because, in the end, that wedding was not about me. (and I had a good time, admittedly a little self-consious, but I owned it!) I had a cousin who skipped my own wedding because she "felt…

I love my fitbit! Not sure what RSI is, but I have used the one you clip on your bra, it just calculates steps, very easy (and will count steps while pushing a shopping cart), but I recently upgraded the HR charge which calculates heart rate and sleep too, but won't count shopping cart steps! I write for a living and it…

Go MYhj70! You're creating a great habit. I'm at 3 miles so far for the day, hoping to get to 5.

LOVE David Bowie!

Recipe for cauliflower red pepper soup enjoy, I love this stuff!

I've been into soup - I rotate celery soup, chicken corn chowder, chili (loaded with veggies), and cauliflower-red pepper soup.

Happy Tuesday!

I have had trouble with anger from past hurts too. some still come around. I have 2 mantras. The first I used to get over my dad, who made me feel undeserving: "He was just a man, and not a very good one." It helped me minimize him, and also the damage he did, instead of endowing him with that mythical "father" status. The…

2.57 miles this morning, and my dog trainer is coming today, so that's another mile or so, and then jazzercise! red letter day. And FYI everyone, Jazzercise is free all month in May (at least in my area, check it out!), in case you are tempted to try it. You can attend every day in May if you want and not have to pay for…

60 minutes of jazzercise, but I missed my walk this morning.

Here! And my head's in the game...

stayed under today, so-so on nutrition. I had asparagus soup, packed with veggies, and protein bars, but also strawberry pie. My daily chocolate is a requirement (85% dark), I'll pretend it's because I need the iron! Need more fruits and veggies.

I use a fitbit and it automatically logs (aerobic exercises) for me - I don't track strength. I limit myself to eating half the calories back (most of the time!).

Helen, I'm in your boat. I had the surgery 13 years ago. I lost 80-ish pounds and gained most of it back. I now weigh 20 pounds less than after that 80 pound loss (100 pounds below my all-time high), with MFP - logging and exercise. However, I really understand the hopelessness that makes the surgery so attractive. My…

Congratulations! Not trying to flirt but you are a cutie-pie!
