Okay! I don't feel deprived, even though I deny myself many foods many times ... because I have a secret treat that I love, and indulge in all the time! Lifeway kefir. It helps me choose to avoid those other foods since I know I'll be happy with the kefir.

I liked what GaleHawkins had to say. I was riding my obesity acceptance right into being disabled (overloaded arthritic knees). No more. My challenge will be not gaining the weight back.

Just hang in there. It's possible that the nicotine had a diuretic effect, and maybe you're holding onto a bit more water weight. Be patient - you're doing the right stuff, and you'll stop dropping again! Honestly, I couldn't stand to be as OCD as the folks who weigh everything. Yikes.
