My daughter is t1d and I have been considering tracking her food with mfp (not for weight loss). She is a preteen so her blood sugars can really fluctuate because of hormones. I have heard many times that adults diagnosed with t1d don't get the education or support that children do... I hope that is not true in your case.…

I am 40 and felt the same way. I have lost just 18.5 lbs and I already feel so much better! I still have at least 59 more lbs to lose (I set my goal weight a little on the higher side). Let's be friends :)

Hey! I am 40 and have been married for almost 10 years. I have also gained A LOT of weight since meeting my husband. I have been really happy with my progress since joining mfp at the beginning of June. I have lost 17.5 lbs so far. I am sure it could have been more but I have had several days of indulging...which is ok!…

I am 40 and joined mfp at the beginning of June. I have lost 17.5 (probably could have been more but I am still enjoying pizza, donuts and the occasional alcohol). I have not found it harder to lose weight at 40. Actually, I am having more success this go around than I ever did in my 30s :) Feel free to add me as a friend!
