I wasn't even walking. I was on the elliptical and then the recumbent bike. At least the calories were accurate to what the Wahoo app told me. (Definitely more calories than a slow walk would have burnt.)

MFP does the same thing when I import exercise from my Wahoo TICKR. It's annoying.

I buy my running shoes online or on sale now, but that's because I've been buying the same model and brand of shoes for a long time. I wouldn't take up a salesperson's time and then not buy anything.

I would tell myself which companies to buy stock in. It's not insider trading if there's time travel involved, right?

The way I figure it is, people who don't use their gym memberships are basically subsidizing cheaper memberships for those of us who do. So I guess I should thank them.

I've been there. My spine and left arm are pretty messed up from when I was in the Army, and they're pretty much as recovered as I can expect by this point. Learn to know the difference between status quo pain and pain that happens when you make your injuries worse. The first you can probably push through if you're able,…

I would get your gait looked at in a specialty store, if you can. They should be able to tell you if you over- or under-pronate, or if you're neutral. That's going to determine on how much cushioning vs. stability you need in a shoe. If you can't do that, I would hit up Google for things like "pronation and running shoe…

If it's just DOMS, working out can actually make it feel better. I'm not sure what you mean by this. Increasing muscle mass will generally make you appear leaner unless you're eating at a surplus, because muscle is denser than fat, so it takes up less volume, and it's more metabolically active as well, which helps you burn…

I'm excited about pretty much all breakfast foods, but who says you have to eat traditional breakfast foods in the morning? Maybe have leftovers from dinner, or meal prep your breakfast using the same kinds of foods you would for lunch.

Whoever keeps leaving a few seconds on the microwave display instead of hitting the reset button.

I haven't ever tried her workouts but I am really, really not a fan of her ideas on nutrition. So probably don't follow any diet plans that come with the program.

I pretty much only eat oatmeal because I have some rice protein I'm trying to use up, and this is the least terrible way. (Rice protein is really gritty.) Adding berries helps with the texture, I've found. And increasing my oatmeal to protein powder ratio, though that obviously adds calories.

I get a custom mix from True Nutrition, which isn't the cheapest option, but works out well for me. You have total control over the ingredients, so you can eliminate whichever element tastes bad to you. (I'm lactose-intolerant and on a medically-required low sodium diet, though, and it's hard to find protein powders that…

About 70-75 right now because I'm coming off a several-month illness and am in awful shape. Normally, it's about sixty.

Oh, man, I'm having flashbacks to sixth grade gym class. But if it gets you moving, it gets you moving!

I don't know if it's because they fixed a bug since this thread was started, but syncing between Wahoo Fitness and MFP is working fine for me on my Galaxy S6 running Lollipop 5.0.2. (I just bought a Tickr yesterday.)

I usually do the Army tape measure method, because it's easy and familiar to me, but it's probably not especially accurate. I'm waiting to hear back about scheduling a Bod Pod appointment. The main thing is consistency in whatever method you choose, so at least you can keep track of trends.

I can never do 1200 calories, either. The fatigue and misery are just not worth it. I don't know what you do, but if you get a lunch break of any useful length, can you look into exercising then? Maybe there's a gym near your work you can hit up? Otherwise, I would look into bodyweight exercises you can do at home. They…

I second Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Target has some alright stuff, too. I also sales-watch like a madwoman.
