Can you and your friends go to a more upscale burger joint like Five Guys or Smashburger? Add some veggies to your burger, try the mushroom or veggie or turkey burgers. Change it up and try new tastes. Having a weekly or monthly treat will make you feel you haven't gone insane!

I'll be 41 in March. I'm in this for real this time (no kidding) as one of my son's has been seeing a nutritionist and is dangerously overweight. He's 11! Time to get real, Ladies. Find whatever motivates you, moves you, and makes you stick with it. Feel free to add me. I chart all my food/drinks daily, strive to walk at…

Starting last night: Me: 1 LNS: 0 Woot Woot! I personally don't count my herbal tea as a late night snack, but it can make all the difference to me wanting to eat or feeling good going to bed without.

Gary you're in good company! Always struggled with emotional eating but recently I've found a way to keep it at bay. Feel free to add me to share the adventure.

One day and one pound at a time. You can do this!

Haha, why do you say it sucks? I'm rather happy losing my belly fat

I'm here to lose 80 lbs. We can help motivate each other

I also think setting a specific time with a reminder has helped me develop this habit. I'm also doing Taekwondo twice weekly for an hour and it seems to be easier to move better and build my endurance. I am on a natural high! Hope this lasts.

Thanks so much, everyone. I'm setting small goals of 5 K steps daily, then will increase to 7.5 K steps daily, and so on..... this is a lifetime adventure :)

Kudos to you, Marie, for doing it the healthy way! I haven't struggled with the eating disorders but I recognize the anxiety and depression that can lead to these dangerous illnesses. You've taken the first step in recognizing your weaknesses and planning for success with your strengths. Wishing you all the best on your…

Sara, I'm sure you're not alone. Stress-eating is something we all can struggle with. For me what works is planning ahead. Do you have go-to foods you know are safe? Do you wait too long to eat between meals and end up sabotaging yourself? Setting aside a few minutes each day to have a bag of raw, unsalted nuts, or a…

Thanks, friends! This is a huge accomplishment for me. I realized I can eat out relatively healthy. It's hard, don't get me wrong, but I left satisfied and happy :)

Hi Star, Glad you're here! What about an exercise ball and some resistance bands? Works for me at night when finally the kids are asleep. Bouce and work out to the TV. Jennifer

Thanks Tiny Dancer :) Yesterday was rough! I think I'm better but the day has just started. I will check on the food soon and make a plan for lunch and dinner. I was able to cook up some sirloin so might use that up for dinner :) Appreciate you asking.

I'd be glad to join you as friends, too. I'm pre-diabetic as I had gestational diabetes in two of my three pregnancies. Trying to lose 80 lbs to be healthy. I'm not sure how to add friends but I'm open to it.
