I haven't lost many pounds but I have dropped 2 dress sizes and I'm a lot more toned and Have some muscle definition. This is more important to me than watching the scales move. Previously I looked better st 10 stone than I did at 9 due to be more toned,

My son is a brown belt in a traditional form of Kung Fu. (Started when he was 4) He's now 12 and only 4ft, slim built and head and shoulders below other kids. His instructor had him watching YouTube vids of a particular fighter who was only about 5'5, but was beating opponents over 6'. Speed, flexibility and the ability to…

Most supermarkets do ready made salad bowls, basic salad, nothing fancy, but easy to grab when your stuck. If nothing else good to nibble on as you drive, or to boost a pre packed sandwich. I always carry a lunch bag with cutlery, salt and pepper and sachets of mayo. I usually have protein bars and sachets of cup a soup in…

I'm confused as to why you need a recipe? It's only Porridge, fruit and yoghurt?

I had all 4 of mine done at the same time. Procedure was fine but the recovery was hard, I had to take a week off work, BUT, considering I had suffered off/on for years and would have continued to suffer I was glad to get them done. Do it, you will be better off in the long run x

Plan ahead, like kbmnurse said, bring a lunch. It could be boredom eating. Always have healthy/low calorie snacks in the truck, even chewing gum or drinking water may give you the movement you want. Good luck x

The MFP calculations are nearly double what the gym machine is telling me. On the basis of that I would be more inclined to use the gym calculation as a guideline. I can get burns over a 1,000, but they tend to be for a few hours activity.

My plate would be similar, although I have been known to eat bags of fresh spinach as a snack x

I don't have the motivation to work out from home but I do make sure to go the gym, and deliberately chose one that was on my way home from work, even though it's about 30 min drive from home if I'm not working that day. The bottom line is I want to get rid of this weight, and get fit and healthy, so while I have my treats…

You've come so far already, the weight loss will be easy for you, well done x

I don't believe they're manufactured differently. I'm a size 5/38 and buy in whatever section suits. (And I'm far from light). I do believe that if you want trainers for running that you need to buy trainers that support the feet when running. Tennis players move differently to runners so they need different support etc.

2.5 hours on average - 1.5 hrs on cardio, 30 mins on weights and about 20 mins doing core and stretching. If I'm stuck for time I'll do sone cardio and core/stretching. The gym is 30 mins drive each way so I won't go for less than an hour and a half.

(((Hugs))) it's not easy being pregnant, and my mum thinks she's being helpful when she makes comments about my weight. , so I do know how you feel x

Obviously I'm not in the same league as you peeps but I did a sprint last year and have signed up for a tri this year. Reason being : the sprint wasn't a race, and help was there for those that needed it (in the swim), and the run could be walked. I'm doing the tri because I can walk the run. I have physical problems which…

If you can cut back a bit on your calorie intake on the the days before and after. I would go for the salmon, no dressing and the steak, no sauce, and desserts are not supposed to be healthy so enjoy. At the end of the day, it's one day, order what you want and enjoy, you can get back to sticking to your goals the next…
