Okay. I am going to track daily deficit... that's easiest for me (I use a spreadsheet that calculates it) so don't freak when you see a 1000 calorie goal. lol I realize that won't work right with the progress meters but I'm ok with that. :)

Sorry if this has been asked before.. but are we tracking net or gross calories? Or is it whatever you want?

Thanks @VeryKatie for reaching out to me! I have been TTC for10 loooong cycles now with no luck. I'll be joining you all on the September challenge even though I'm hoping I won't be able to finish because I'll wind up pregnant! :D We are doing fertility testing next cycle if this one doesn't work out so cross your fingers…

And I say this as someone with terrible self esteem who as been struggling and trying and failing at obtaining/maintaining weight loss for (ever?) years before I met my DH and all throughout our relationship. Went well for me. I wasn't feeling particularly hungry so my calorie goal was relatively easy. Not very hungry again today so we will see. I am hoping to have a more active day today though! :)

I took my first set of measurements at the beginning of this month. I plan on measuring at the beginning of each month. It'll be very interesting to see the results, I've never been a measurer

I have the same problem :( I honestly just buy pants that fit my legs/booty and loop a hair binder around the button/button hole. It really makes shopping for pants a lot less frustrating.

If you have FitBit set at a weight loss goal the calories it gives you will include the needed deficit. ETA: FitBit feeds your expected calorie expenditure through to MFP which also will adjust for whatever deficit you tell MFP you want.. (eg: Fit bit says you're going to expend 3000 calories today.
