I track calories, and also vitamin C and iron because I'm anemic and I don't love feeling constantly tired.

I just got married on May 28th and I feel this so much. I had to make a rule for myself that I wasn't going to look at the scale during the month of May because I knew it would just cause me anxiety, so I just focused on trying my best and staying healthy. One really important thing to remember is that wedding dress sizes…

Maybe! There's no way to know until you get there, honestly. On the bright side, it might be easier/cheaper to shop for bras and jeans.

I totally relate to this. I haven't exercised in two weeks because I've had an awful cold, and then some life stuff prevented me from getting to the gym. I also got sick like 4 times this year (lots of stress + working around little kids = super sick all the time). For me, it's been helpful to just be mindful of how many…

I first started gaining weight around 3rd-4th grade. My parents and two brothers were both normal weight, which ended up being an intensely painful experience, as I lived my life feeling like something was inherently wrong with me. I think I was heavier than the rest of my family because I was a picky eater and also…

This sounds like a good question for your primary care physician.

I have a very similar problem, except with beer. I love my IPAs so much and I always feel ambivalent because they're about 200 calories each.

This might be a good question for a doctor.

I'm sorry you're struggling. Binge Eating Disorder is so debilitating. One thing that you might start thinking about is if something "triggers" the binging (e.g. strong negative emotions, stressful events, tiredness, etc). Learning what your triggers are may help you figure out what you can do to stop them.

This sounds like an extraordinarily difficult experience, and it also sounds like there's a lot going on in your life right now. Have you thought about consulting a mental health professional?

I used to take Loestrin too! High five! Ended up stopping because my insurance didn't cover it, but I liked it for the most part. My experience was that I would vacillate between being so nauseous that I thought I would throw up to being ravenous. It will go away. For me, it was a few weeks. Drinking tons of water and…

Not to stereotype the OP, but beer also has the potential to increase weight by quite a bit. I gained 15 pounds in a really alarmingly short amount of time after I started drinking more.

That's like 6 and a half hours of walking, according to my math.

Turkey Hill Moose Tracks light ice cream has been a game changer for me. It's 140 calories for 1/2 cup and doesn't taste any different from the real stuff.

I went in to get my yearly checkup and realized that I had gained nearly 20 lbs in a year. (It was my first year of grad school and I had developed some unhealthy habits.) I was overweight as a kid and it really freaked me out. I have a friend who lost like 30 pounds with MFP, so I gave it a shot.

May 2016 here. We're losing weight together before then!

Pasta salad is mine. I can easily eat over 700 calories of pasta salad. Also, my beloved double IPAs. :(

I'm used to like gym, but my psychological condition is playing games with me so I cannot go. You seem to not know what depression is. [/quote] I understand not feeling motivated because of the symptoms of depression. One thing to keep in mind is that exercise can actually reduce the symptoms of depression!
