Hello James, I am 54 and 6 foot also. OK 5' 11 3/4". I, too, need to lose weight to get to a healthy BMI. My 6 month goal is 52 pounds. (Currently 252) I have never used this forum for support, so this is new to me. What is your plan? Joe
