Take this free time to learn to shop for & cook healthy delicious meals. If you live at home, your family will appreciate it, and it will be a lifelong skill. Go on recipe websites or Youtube to learn the basics if you don't already know. Won't your folks be pleased to come home to a great home-cooked meal!

If you are retaining water, try to drink more water to keep it flushed out of your system. Other than that, you may have just hit a temporary plateau. Doublecheck your portion accuracy. But really, your rate of loss is very good.

Don't get discouraged about "messing up" your first week. It will give you a good analysis of how you WERE eating and what direction you need to adjust your nutrition program. If going cold turkey from a high-fat, high-carb, high-sugar diet is going to be too difficult to adjust to, just tweak it a little bit here & there…
