Awesome job! Don't downplay your achievements! Losing slowly gives you a much better chance at keeping it off :)

Yes I've been guilty of going overboard with the low carb fads in the past. And all it accomplished was a short period of weight loss and then regaining it all and more. I just needed to remove the unnecessary sugar from my diet. I have cut out over processed white flour and other foods filled with corn syrup for over a…
I've got a question..... in the picture with the sweater..... how did you lose your stomach? Did you have the hanging pooch? Hope the questions are ok..
Question is totally fine! I do have loose skin around my abdomen ( and arms and thighs). I'm 38, had a child and have been overweight for most of my…

Good point :) carbs are my kryptonite! If I don't watch it they always put me in a caloric surplus - when I start, I have trouble stopping. Protein and making sure my carbs are whole grain does help.
Thanks! I love it too! And yes I plan to have it tailored to my new size once I've stopped losing inches :)

I actually agree with you Patttience :). My point was that "You can eat whatever you want as long as you exercise" is a myth that I've found to be untrue in the past year. I used to work out with a personal trainer but the minute I stopped going I regained all my weight because I never changed my eating habits. I've lost…

Busy mom, here! My husband works away two weeks a month. I have a demanding job. With my husband away i have to work out in the mornings before my toddler wakes up or go for a run at lunch time. I am so inconsistent with it...it is so easy to sleep in or work through lunch. Would love to be accountable to someone :). I've…

I am going through the same thing. My starting weight was the same and I am about the same weight now. Although I've been at it since last August. Since I had consistently lost every week, it's been disappointing to see no weight loss or slight weight gains recently. I also reached out for advice. For me, changing my…
