I was thinking it would be good for an entire meal. No preparation, just throw in my lunch bag and heat up at work. Cheaper than my $10 Panera salads anyway.

Anybody had these yet? I bought a couple to try. I was excited to see Steamfresh veggie options that also have a decent amount of protein. This particular one would be 480 calories for the bag, 26 g protein and 24 g fiber.

Pay attention to the weight capacity. I purchased one that goes to 11 lbs because I occasionally measure whole hams and such.

I am also training for the NYC Marathon. It will be my first. I am following Hal Higdon's novice supreme plan. A couple of suggestions: 1. Get in a few races before the big day - 5k, 10k, whatever. Just get a feel for the race experience and running in a big crowd of people. 2. Look for a running group. Doing long runs…
