I'm in the same situation, I live at home and the only meal I have no control over is dinner. I've learned to allow at least 500 calories for dinner which isn't enough majority of the time, but I've drastically cut back elsewhere so it doesn't bother me if I go a little over. When mum is cooking dinner I ask what recipe…

Yep again! Food is all just numbers to me now. Also last night my boyfriend and I had Indian for dinner, ordered two naan breads and twice he tried to eat my pieces (thinking we would share eachothers). I told him eat yours and I'll eat mine! If I'm going all out with some naan I want every last damn calorie

I also tried to reset the device last night by pressing a pin into the little hole in the back (as per instructions on Fitbit website) and now the device will not turn on at all. I think I'm going to take it back to where I bought it from because it's more trouble than it's worth, and I've successfully lost weight without…

That's not what I mean. For example, some people have their primary goal set to 10,000 steps a day, this shows on their Fitbit wristband as they work towards reaching this throughout the day. I want my goal to be 2,000 calories a day. It wasn't showing that I had burned 1,688 so far - it was displaying this as my goal to…

Yes that's what I mean - primary goal to show calories burned. I want this to be set at 2,000 (so I'd then be eating 1,200 calories with an 800 deficit). I don't really watch the steps or anything else so the main reason I bought a Fitbit was to calculate my TDEE and BMR

I went through this just last week, I was prepared to see a gain but my weight stayed the same a few days leading up to TOM and then continued for about a week after. As soon as those ~2 weeks were over I dropped about 4.4lbs and have stayed down since!

I'm 5'5 and currently 70kg, wanting to get down to 60kg at least and then see how I feel from there. I've been around this weight for majority of my teenage/early adult years (20 years old now) so I have no idea how my body will look with a little less weight. I'm also pear shaped so I hold a lot of my weight in my legs…

This post has been so interesting to read I'm loving it! Except I'm in the complete opposite situation - a coworker who is now a close friend of mine has lost over 70kg (154 pounds) in the past 18 months, mostly through weight watchers (she's a group leader/team leader now and is starting her own weekly meeting) but she…

Thanks everyone for the ideas and tips! I'll definitely have to give almond milk a try. I'm starting tomorrow without the usual teaspoon of sugar in both my coffees. The milk is definitely my main source of calcium and I always log in advance to allow for my coffees so it's not a big drama, just wanting to get some ideas…

How much milk are you using? Must be barely any to total 15 cals? Even if I used almond milk I'd be over 100 at least
-
I know that's my problem - two a day is 400 cals which is huge when you're only allocated 1200. What brand almond milk do you recommend? I've never tried it before

Because I use 1.5 cups of it, there's 110 cals per serving (250ml)
