I know @shylady76 is doing great, I see it on my newsfeed! ♥ (And congrats!) I still don't think I'm gonna hit the 50 lbs in 4 months goal, but that's okay, because getting closer to goal feels wonderful! My weigh-in last Saturday was 146.0, not going to give up! :) Hope all is well for @ChristyParadee !

I have been stalking my produce store waiting for the Honey Crisps, they are my favorite!!! And yes, so huge that it's the only time I ever end up refrigerating half of an apple for later. Sometimes my son will share one with me, though, he likes them too.

Vilma's Blog link. ( @snowflake930 ) :) I just read through the entire thing and wow, Vilma, congratulations! Your story is well-told, easy to relate to and very inspiring!

Those tiny peanut butter cups are yummy and adorable! I've never tried their chocolate-covered ginger, I hadn't thought of combining those flavors, now I'll have to look for it next time I go to TJ's. My last TJ treat were those super thin Meyer lemon cookies, so good.

Zzz, here we go. Differing opinions are just so darn pesky, must commence arguments, go! Haha! I actually love the un-photoshopped version of this pic! There is SO MUCH hilarious stuff happening. That llama in the side-mirror...its face LOL. "Soon."

Congratulations! This is so inspiring!

Halloween Goal: 135 8/29 SW: 151 9/5: 149.6 9/12: 148.8 CW: 146.0 Last week was way better than the week before! Only 1 pound to go until I am within the "healthy weight" category for my height! (Although I'm not stopping there, so I have a way to go, still.) Have fun and good luck, everyone! Happy Almost-Fall!

I am probably gonna take a lot of heat saying this...so let me preface with everyone is different, what worked for me doesn't mean it will work for anyone else. I used to have a lot of problems with migraines. Medication didn't do much to help with it, either. When I started to avoid a few common "trigger" foods, it helped…

Chalk another one up for emotional eating. That and terrible preparation, especially with bringing meals to work--which I rarely did. Instead I'd buy something every day, sometimes thinking I was making good nutritional choices when that was not the case. So, I guess emotional eating + not mindful at all.

Buckeyes are so very good! And I just love Ina. Ditto! I live near Philly and I have to agree with this so wholeheartedly.

My only thought on bananas is "mmmm." Slice, freeze, wait a couple of hours, then into the blender it goes, with a drop or two of vanilla extract. Blend blend blend and hello delicious banana ice cream.

I have always been curious about Vegemite! It always makes me think of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2Z264w9_2Q

I'd agree with that! Although Nutella has finally fully caught on here in the USA, too.

I'm American and I don't ever remember considering peanut butter to be "more of a protein than a fat." When I was a kid, peanut butter and jam/jelly sandwiches were very common, because so many pb brands were cheap and easily accessible, and it wouldn't spoil in a packed lunch. But, "healthy?" I don't think many really…

Lol! I love your posts. I didn't used to eat ramen too often, but I did like it a lot, and usually ate at least most (if not all) of an entire brick of noodles. I was not a fan of the seasoning packet, so I always skipped that, and most often I did toss them with a lot of fresh veggies, and I thought "this must be…

Love that, thank you for sharing it.

If you like dijon mustard, a really delicious and super quick dressing is equal parts freshly squeezed lemon juice and dijon mustard (I usually use around 20 grams/ 20 ml of each) with a gram or two of dried tarragon. Just whisk it together, it will stick, and if you want it even thicker, mix it with a small amount of…

This. So much this.

Heck yes. Congrats, you're looking really fantastic!!

It took me quite awhile, and when I look around a clothing shop, I keep going to the wrong size. I haven't been size 8 in so long, it almost feels like I don't believe it quite yet. I still have a long way to go to get where I want to be, so maybe that is part of it.

When I scoop out a tablespoon of exactly 28 grams of hummus, I always feel like I just won something, haha!

I experienced that shock when I weighed "a serving" of rice. To me, that looked like about two mouthfuls. <.<

Oh wow, I'm glad someone bumped this thread, I didn't know it was here! Rant incoming!!!! The main forum (particularly the weight loss one) drives me crazy sometimes! I do understand that some people aren't willing to admit that different approaches work for different people, and I get it that CICO is the science behind…

Wow, John, awesome job!!

Fantastic! What you're doing is working, congrats!!

Slow week! 148.8, so I lost less than a pound, but I'm glad that at least it's a bit of a loss. You're doing fantastic, shylady! I saw it on my newsfeed, congrats!!! I don't think I'm going to come anywhere near a 50 lb loss from the start of this particular challenge, but I'm still excited, anyway. I hope…

Checking in at 148.8—not much of a loss this week, only .8 of a pound, but I'll take it. Halloween Challenge SW: 151 New CW: 148.8 Halloween GW: 135 I'll probably need to reconsider that goal, I think it might be too aggressive, but I will wait and see how I do this week. Have a lovely week, everyone! :)

@jdleanna Congrats!! That has to feel so wonderful! It has taken me a very, very long time to realize that, I know just what you mean.

So nice to read something like this after a tough day. Thank you!

I love this, congrats!!
