I do a 24 hour fast once a week, and 18:6 for the rest of the week and it's surprisingly easier than it sounds! But i would suggest that you do not push yourself to do a workout if you don't feel you have enough energy, since you will already be running on empty.

Yes, I also think a food scale is a necessary tool in your weight loss arsenal! Also I would just like to say that there is no one size fits all way to lose weight! Experiment with your food, listen to your body and just have fun with it! ;)
