Once a month I find to be enough. It can go up and down slightly with my cycle so I think it's easier that way.

I don't really see what the issue is. You don't need to DEMAND that he doesn't bring home donuts....I simply ASKED my boyf if he wouldn't mind keeping his packets of our favourite cookies in his office rather than the kitchen. He doesn't care where the cookies are as long as he can access them!

It's supposed to be Fat Fertile Females over Forty, but actually the numbers in terms of the sexes are becoming more even, and the average age is plummeting, thought to be due to earlier onset obesity.

There IS such a thing as starvation mode FYI, but you're extremely unlikely to go into Ketoacidosis without some sort of metabolic deficiency. Starvation mode doesn't matter in the context given by an earlier poster, but it does exist! And one meal a day won't harm you if that's the way you want to eat, as long as you've…

900 per day is too low, stick to your 1,100 if that was working for you. Your body needs to recover from the surgery, if you continue to put it under stress you'll only take longer to get back on your feet in the long run.

Other behaviors did not change; use declined sharply after the first month; nothing was apparently monitored but self-reported "use of a personal calorie goal". That's not a very impressive study. I definitely agree with its conclusions: if you hand a random person an app and then just let them use it or not as they see…

There's no point in cooking with olive oil, it loses it's good qualities at a relatively low temperature. That said, I often use it if it's all I've got in. If you like cooking with a little butter and it's not getting in the way of your goals, carry on! Food is to be enjoyed after all!

It takes approx 3,000 kcal of energy to burn 1lb of fat; that's unfortunately a fact we cannot change...so if, over the week, you eat 3,000 kcal less than you were (or you burn that with exercise) you will lose the 1lb each week. Good luck!
