I average 20,000 steps most weekdays and maybe a few more on weekends. But I don’t log steps. I log miles.

I totally agree with BrainSharpe. Layering.

It is finished. Gandalf, into your hands I commend my sneakers.

Anyone have experience with "ropeless" jump ropes?

I exercise outdoors year-round. Hot, cold, rain, snow. Doesn't matter to me. I just dress accordingly. About the only weather I won't go out in is when there's lightning in the area.

I've found I'm able to get along fine at home with a kettle bell and TRX straps. When (or if) gyms open up again here, I'll cancel my membership if they don't let me keep it frozen like it is now. As others have posted, I'm not even thinking of going back until medical science catches up.

Well if I can stay on schedule, I should finish sometime in September.

Legolas and I might go bird watching tomorrow. Maybe he'll see an eagle.

I literally feel your pain. Or thankfully did. If you’re not stubborn as I am, the more rest you can give the injury, the faster it will heal.

And now they're celebrating my departure ;). Oh well. Off to North Undeep. Sounds like Oceania Newspeak for "shallow".

9 miles to Field of Celebrant. I should find out what they're celebrating sometime tomorrow.

As far as walking or running, I like this calculator. It factors in weight, incline, speed and net vs gross. Net being the calculation for calories burned just for the exercise excluding basal metabolism. This is the number I log. https://exrx.net/Calculators/WalkRunMETs

I would say listen to your body but if it doesn’t tell you “no” and your schedule permits, no reason not to walk every day.
-
I’m lucky enough that my route is fairly isolated and it’s easy to maintain a buffer of more than 10 ft from the few people I do encounter so I don’t wear a mask on my run. I have stated wearing one on my once a week food shopping trips.

Between 9:30-10 for 5-6 miles

I’ve done both and in my experience there was no change

Yeah we may be in the same boat. State. Whatever. At least it takes the guesswork out as to whether or not to go.

I’m about 3 days out of Rivendale

Do you at least wear gloves on your tongue so you don’t get calluses? 😉

Got word that my coworker “just” has the flu so I’m going to try and stay the course for now.
