Well, yesterday was my first day holding food down -- and my weight is up by 4lb! I'm sure it's a starvation response. Didn't eat for days, wasn't hydrating well. With any luck, it'll drop back with a few days of good logging and pounding the water! Have you tried iced green teas? I love fruity teas like blueberry and…

What part of NY are you from? Forgive me, but I think of NY in two parts: NYC and then the other part of NY with cows and farms.

My week has been total garbage. I'm on a TERRIBLE antibiotic. A quick Google will confirm that I'm not the only one - nausea, vomiting, sweating, chills, metal mouth. Can't win. It's called Flagyl and if anyone ever tries to prescribe it for you, refuse. Aside from not keeping a load of food down, I can only eat small…

Oh, what a gorgeous cat! Love the coloring/markings. Also, where do you live? I live in Maine - so it really dumps snow here & I totally get you on the weather front.
-
Oh no! I hope that you and Barney are both okay. I can't imagine how difficult all that must have been for you. I wouldn't worry about the stress eating, honestly. Sometimes life gets a little bit in the way and what matters is that you get back on track. I wouldn't eat everything in the cupboards twice per week - but hey,…

Feel free to add me! Serial starter back on MFP after gaining back the thirty pounds I lost through April. I'm active, open diary. :)

I had a bit of a binge last night - not terrible, all healthy foods - but I'm feeling the bloat for it today. Here's to having a better week!
-
Oh, my! They're all so darn cute and so unique from each other! What's your exercise of choice? Not going to lie -- tried to leash train the cats, got nowhere. Good thing I prefer to cycle anyway!
-
Do you have photos of your cat? I'm a sucker for cat photos!
-
I have three cats! Well, two are mine and one is a long-term foster that probably isn't going back home to my sister. They're a bit of a crazy bunch... Stormy is all black and a little rude, Moose is big and blind in one eye (but he's also so sweet and cuddly), and Gomez is such a nice cat but he has a permanently grumpy…

Hi there! I'm Danielle. I'm 24 years old and I've been on and off MFP for... well, a while. I had lost thirty pounds as of April, but my husband's RA threw us for a loop with some medication changes and awful side effects, and I gained back twenty of the pounds I'd lost. I'm a borderline crazy cat lady, I'm a few days from…

I stepped on the scale after a hiatus from MFP and realized that I, too, have hit my all-time highest weight. It's the worst feeling. I'll shoot you a friend request -- hope you can find supportive people here!

Hello everyone! My name is Danielle. I'm 23 and I'm from the Land of Wintery Hell(northwestern Maine). I know a few people here already, but I'm excited to meet more! My sports of choice are road cycling, tennis, hiking, and horseback riding--but I dabble in spin classes, pickleball, and just about everything else from…

So glad this thread exists!! 23 years old, 5'4''. Current weight is 160, trying to get down to 125ish. Anyone can feel free to add me!

I've tried talking myself into that mindset a thousand times! The positive self-talk takes a lot of effort, but I think I've finally decided that health does matter more than the number on the scale... with that in mind, I still scale-obsess. At one point I tried to ditch the scale altogether, opting solely for…

How low is low? Just enough to maintain the deficit with the day of higher eating? Do you notice bloating/discomfort from the shift?
-
Oof, I personally am awful about logging mishaps. Some part of me desperately wants my diary to look perfect--even if I know that I've made some poor choices. Perhaps I'll start logging the mishaps, in the hopes that they won't always be so discouraging. Thank you. :)

Hi there! I'll send out a few requests myself, but anyone can feel free to add me. I successfully lost 28lb here and put it all back on when I left--so here I am again! Friends definitely do help. It's really motivating to have people who are following what you are doing!

OK but what I would give to log an entire DiGiorno and still be under my calories
-
I second that. When I add new friends and when I notice that I haven't chatted with someone in a while, I find a reason to do so. It makes for a connection, which I find helps me in the long-run, even if it's once every few months. Granted, I did take a very long break from MFP, and now I'm back with very few friends!…
