I was diagnosed with PCOS at 23 (normal weight, 5'7" 140 at the time of diagnosis...so took awhile because it was 2003 and they didn't think I could have it...). I am now 36, borderline obese, 190lb, 29.8 BMI (so for all intents and purposes obese). No kids. Take Metformin daily as well, periods every 35 days. Not looking…

My dad used to sing to me "Let's Dance!...put on your red shoes and dance the blues..." when I was a kid. The SERIOUS Moonlight...

O.M.G. bsbprincess...I'm sending you a message. You had me at Zombies. April - Sweet pea, I am 5'7" and 190. We all come in different shapes and sizes, frames and brains, attitudes and perspectives. You got this. YOU WERE THE ONE WHO STARTED ALL OF THIS. Look at the positivity (??is this a word??) love, encouragement, and…

Totally. You were a great cheerleader - I like how we all seem to be on the same page on this thread.

Thanks bsbprincess. I don't mean to sound like a brat - it just kinda slapped me in the face. He doesn't EVER make me feel bad (even though I was 60lb less when we met...12 years ago...) and is always loving, but it doesn't help the mental state, ya know? I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all and losing weight…

Yeah jetamu96. Thanks. :)

Ok - here is my brutal honesty to wrap up this lil Monday... So I just asked my hubs how much he weighs right now...175. I am 190. I officially weigh more than my husband today (...obviously it's been for a while - duh - I've just been afraid to ask...). Scary to me. Don't like this. Don't feel dainty or sexy. Feel heavy.…

April - Anytime chica :) As asyk805 said earlier - the more the merrier! I'm having some issues in the newsfeed liking and commenting - hopefully will get fixed. Saw in the help section that other users are experiencing the same thing...we shall see...

April - no worries girl! If you aren't ready for the scale, then use something like a pair of jeans, a dress, a tshirt, etc. that you kind of know what you weighed when you wore it. Try it on every week and take note of how it's fitting. This may help make it easier - as you get closer to it fitting correctly - to get on…

Love it - I think that's great!!! :)

I came up with some non-numeric goals: 1) Can remove by wedding band & engagement ring without saliva, lotion, soap or any combo of the aforementioned 2) Minimal to no thigh chaffing/chub rub this summer (I don't want to buy stock in Desitin) 3) The bra tank tops I wear to bed aren't sports bras by morning 4) Jeans stay…

I have a girls' weekend with my friends at the end of June to Miami...they all have had kids and are skinny-minnies as well!! Need to drop some by then...Kristi K

My goal is 60lbs of weight loss as well, not for a wedding - but if I could lose it by August that would be LOVELY (going on a cruise but to Alaska...). Would LOVE to lose 40lb by end of June (going to Miami with some girlfriends....). Anyone can feel free to add me. Today is going well thus far...planning for my first day…

I LOVE colored boxes! I basically ate enough calories for a year Friday...so I'm lucky I don't have more of a gain. Plus I didn't start my training (running) last week...need to get my *kitten* together! B)

Thanks all for the candid, amazing photos! Can't wait to post my success here as well. Truly amazing transformations.

We could also add BMI or something. I like the calorie, carb, fiber, etc and exercise goal idea! I posted my goal...by April 4. Also a little aggressive...15lb, but I have more to lose than y'all. :s :# :p

Ok - so I posted in introductions, and I am 5'7"(170cm) and 189.4lb(85.9kg) this morning. Will go to the spreadsheet post - is this where we should continue to add on to the weekly string?

Hi there - I'm Kristi and I live in Virginia, USA :). I've gained about 50lbs (scary...) since 2011. I'm 36 years old and I'm trying to get back to my 2011/12 self. This used to be so I would look better (...vanity) and feel more confident, and these are still important to me, but I have REALLY started to notice the…

I'm 36, 5'7" and medium frame. Was in 140s for a long time, then 160s, now hit my highest at 190.8. My goal is 135. Thanks everyone for posting on here! And good luck to those of you embarking now - and congrats to those who are losing or met their goal!

Hi Beth - I'm in the same boat! I have gained A LOT of weight over the last 2-3 years and haven't been able to reverse the trend. Stayed about the same the last 6 months - so that's at least a plus I suppose.
