I don't have much advice, except to second mirrim's suggestion of a physio. I've gotten a referral on two different occasions, both for minor overuse injuries, and it helped immensely. I'm sorry about your thumb and hope it heals quickly!

Workout A today, and I added some warmup sets for the first time. Squats: 2x5 bodyweight 1x5 @ 45# 1x5 @ 55# 5x5 @ 60# Bench Press: 1x5 @ 45# 1x5 @ 55# 5x5 @ 60# Rows: 1x5 @ 55# 5x5 @ 60# There were several guys in the weight room today, but I just went about my workout instead of being intimidated, so yay me for that! =)

I don't do CrossFit, but I'm thinking there's no way you gained 9 pounds of muscle in a month, especially as a female. So I think you're right: it's your diet. =\ It's okay though: Lesson learned, right? Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start tracking what you eat.

Well... From what I understand, carbohydrates and protein contain 4 calories per gram and fat is 9 calories per gram. I wish I hadn't crash dieted out of impatience. I initially started at 240# and gradually got down to 165# and stagnated there. Then, for a week, I kept my calories under 600 and did two workouts per day. Almost passed out once. I lost 10# in a week, then gained it back over the next few days. Oh, plus another 30#.
