I didn't know they have any! It doesn't say anything on the box, so I assumed they don't. I rarely have vitamins to be fair, always buy them and then they're forgotten.

MFP tells me I will lose a measly 1 lb in 5 weeks if that. I'm losing slightly more than that, about 2 lbs.

I'm not even in maintenance and find I do the same thing, especially lately. I upped my calories by 100 and those are wasted on more snacks. I don't have lunch, instead, have some sweet snack as I think I won't have enough calories for lunch. If I didn't eat so much junk food then I'd have enough! I just eat a lot of…

Sorry, but it really annoys me when people claim it's too much food, especially when they're obese. I've had anorexia in the past, would eat <300 calories for months on end, weighed a tiny 82 lbs at one point, but still felt too big. It resulted in binge eating and massive weight gain, hence why I ended up on here. After…

Are you trying to lose weight? If yes, then how did you gain weight in the first place?

I've had the same breakfast almost daily (although slightly different toppings) for over 2 years. I think I ought to change it up, but I don't like anything other than oats for breakfast. The only times I don't have oats, is when I don't have breakfast, which isn't that often. I need something with protein though as I…

I think you are looking too much into it. I've had a few people say the same to me and honestly, I was pleased! I know I'm not 'too skinny', I'm at a healthy BMI, and I know they didn't mean it in a cruel way.

I find myself automatically turning sideways and holding my breath when I try to move between gaps, no matter how large. In my head, I still think I won't fit when in reality I now can fit easily. I still have too many 'fat days', but sometimes I catch a glimpse of myself and am shocked at how petite I look. Sadly, that…

Soup - of any kind. It looks good, but whenever I try to eat it, it makes me want to puke. Think it's the texture, it's revolting.

I can't. At least, not that often. I know one day doesn't make that much difference long-term, but after a cheat day my willpower just vanishes and I almost always want another, then another. I aim to have one every 4 months or so. That I can deal with.

You look amazing! Well done. Just wondering, what was your exercise routine? Would you mind sharing what you did?

I have been weighing everything I eat for about 2 years now. I was obese when I started, now at the lower end of normal BMI - although not quite done yet. I've been trying to lose weight all my life, this is the only thing that has worked for me and I don't even think about the extra minute or so it takes to weigh…

I don't think my calves have changed much with weight loss. I must have lost half an inch if that. Calves: 13" Thighs: 19" Weight: about 110lbs Height: 5'2" Body fat: No idea

I usually just cook with water, if I use oil I measure it out.

I'm on 1220 calories and it's not great. I don't eat lunch, have a small snack instead. Also, I find I can easily cut out things like condiments, salad dressings, I cook without oil, make my oats with water, that saves me a lot of calories. Eating lots of vegetables and fruit also helps as they're generally lower in…

I have oats every single day pretty much, have had the same breakfast for about 2 years now. Today I had oats, made with water, a mini banana, some sunflower seeds and cinnamon. I change up the fruit and seeds, sometimes I add almond or coconut milk or cacao powder, but otherwise, it stays the same.
-
That only works if you have a good amount of maintenance calories. My maintenance calories are around 1400, just under that. The weeks I workout maintenance is closer to 1600. Still not enough if I want to have something like a takeout meal, or some other oily food, and a breakfast of oats or something. I would be well…

It's amazing that you've got a BMI of 35 if you don't have much of an appetite. It really is!

It's called mishri/rock sugar.

Sheep trotters and tripe. Why would anyone choose to eat it?! Also, this stuff. Once when I was 7 or 8, my sister and I ate a whole packet of it between us. Never felt so sick after and never touched the stuff again.

If you're only losing 0.5 lbs a week, then I personally wouldn't up your calories, but change what you're eating or increase your exercise. I think people are forgetting that you're only 5 foot 2 inches (I'm the same height), we can't eat a lot and continue to lose weight.
-
I log everything. I'm short and so don't have many calories to work with. Even spices like cinnamon which are around 5 calories, and black tea or coffee which aren't much, I log.

Yes, perhaps that's true. I guess I just don't like to make others uncomfortable, if someone wants to chat I would find it rude to say, sorry I'm busy. I don't spend much time with other people usually, I work and study from home. Being assertive is definitely not in my nature.
-
I think that's just it, I look more approachable and friendly than I actually am lol. To be fair, the gym I go to is full of super friendly people, lots of stay-at-home mothers who are looking for an adult to chat to, lots of men that want to help you out. I think once I've been there a while people will get it that I'm an…

Thanks for the tips, I will give it a try next time I'm there :)
-
I think I'm too worried about offending people, but you're right, I should be more honest. It's nothing personal, just rather not chat.
-
I think it is personally. I started dieting when I was around 10, I was at a normal weight back then, but I was bigger than my underweight sister and always felt fat in comparison. I tried all the silly diets and developed a very bad relationship with food. Either I'd binge on food, or I'd barely eat a thing. I've been…

I would be happy to lose 0.5 lbs a week, but that rarely happens. I lose 1 lb, every 3 weeks or so on 1300 calories. MFP gives me 1220 calories, without exercise to lose 0.5 lbs. I increased it to 1300 as 1220 seems too low now.
-
That seems like the logical thing to do. Will try 3 days, cardio 45 minutes and a little strength training, 30 minutes. I'm sure I could manage that.

Honestly, I don't like any exercise, I really wish I did, but I never have. Even walking is a chore in the cold, although I do like to go for a walk in better weather. I don't mind the gym, but I think usually I tend to over-do it and then give up quickly. If I was to do lifting or bodyweight exercises, that would be great…
