@raizelchaya I got really settled in my posting habits and stopped focusing on what I was actually working towards. I allowed my habits to plateau basically. I was fortunate enough to not gain back much but I would like to finally reach my goal.

I fall into that boat for sure! It's a lot nicer to have people around your age to help you! I'm not a nutritionist but I was about the same starting weight and my end weight is a little heavier than yours so I think that's a good goal weight. You could also check out bmis and such to be sure.

I think these tips were very helpful! 6 and 7 in particular I really agree with. Eating better is a lifetime commitment not a short term thing and so there really can't be "bad foods" to stay away from for ever and ever. Just foods you have to be more cautious with!

My goal is to be able to cosplay anyone without hesitation so I understand your motivation! I'd also like to do some jfashion too but I'm too large for brands atm!

I'm in the same boat (I even want to lose the same amount)! I just started today because I'm very tired of my college weight as well (I'm looking to go down to 136 for now and then reevaluate from there). Feel free to add although I'm technically a postbacc student.

I'm definitely a geek I would say. I enjoy anime, manga, webcomics, and western comics thoroughly. My favorite animes are Chrono Crusade, Nichijou, and PSWG. I'm trying to lose weight for lolita coords from actual brand names and cosplay of course. Also I apologize if I posted twice. My phone was acting screwy earlier.
