Also don't forget about water weight gain & bloat from having your TOM. I typically gain 5 pounds of water weight & 1 inch around my waist.

Obviously the poster of the post, that I responded to; had some expectation for her Mother to know better with relation to working in a hospital. What 1 privately believes, is their business but when they publicly support, question, expose their practice of and/or it affects something, that is in opposition to what's…

I did mention "depending upon her previous education", it might not all be just with the business spectrum. Some people have degrees for various careers & some medical training, doesn't even involve obtaining degrees. I took a class, just for CPR certification.

@nutmegoreo I really don't see this as being any different, than police officers; whom have been fired for also being KKK members. There's valid concern that what 1 believes in/does in their personal lives, can cross over & affect their professional judgments. @Alatariel75 She should always be current. With some fields,…

A form of Zumba while walking? I also just love, how she begins each exercise; from the same place instead of just, beginning the next exercise; where the previous 1 ends. How about some new scenery?
-
@Bowsergirl my sympathies to you! Seriously though for a medical professional, regardless of the extent of their medical training/field; should be fired & their ability to perform medicine revoked, for this. I just wouldn't trust, this person; to treat me and/or be in charge, of those; that treat other patients. I'd…

Most people would consider running a marathon or even at the very least, a mile; a NSV. However mine was being able to run to my apartment, from my mailbox. I am guessing that that's approximately 500 feet. I'm hoping that by April 1st (my birthday), to be able to run to my local produce store; which is only a 1/2 mile…

1st the less you weigh, the less calories you need; I readjust my calories monthly & 2nd are you factoring water weight gain, from menstruating? I gain 5 pounds. Focus on monthly progress, not weekly. If you aren't seeing a difference after a month, then readjust; until you do. I had also gained an additional 4 pounds of…

I know but I can't set it by grams, without Premium; just percentages & only by increments of 5.
-
With Premium, you can set your Macronutrients by gram; which is more precise than percentage & that's why, I have it.
-
@TheRoadDog that isn't real facial hair?
-
@headofphat I disagree, it's your business because if they become disabled, from an injury & can't work you'll be providing their food stamps & section 8.
-
When 1 asks for advice, they're asking to be judged; upon the information that they provide. Which also includes previous posts, on other threads; especially if there might be a relation. Most of the time, there's a correlation between a desire; for frequent bowel movements & an eating disorder. Therefore my suspicion was…

I have a home gym & what frustrates me, is that most of it; is still in boxes because I am the 1, whom has to assemble everything. I'll possible lose all of my weight, before I get it complete; including buying even more equipment but at least it'll help me maintain.

Oddly my legs only tremble, when I am using the toilet.

Thank you & I agree! :)

When you not only weigh the dish before you eat but also the utensil & both after as well, so that you don't count; the residue left on them because you didn't actually consume them.

Knowledge via 2 facts: 1 nutrition educating & 2 the speed of time. When I 1st became aware of how long it's going to take, to lose all of the weight that I desire to lose; it was discouraging but then I remember thinking about the previous year & all of the moments, that I've said "I can't believe that it's been a year…

@middlehaitch I'd agree if I was large frame, then the highest normal weight range for my height'd; be ideal but since I am small frame & the weight range includes all frame sizes, I have a minimum of another 24 pounds to lose; after becoming within the normal weight range or a maximum of 36 pounds.
-
Which 1 of you, gets to keep; the original? I wouldn't want a situation to occur, that had; in the movie: Multiplicity!
-
I at least desire to be within, my normal weight range for my height; before I officially take a break. After exactly 6 months (December 22nd) & losing 20 pounds, I was 5 pounds away; from that but currently I am 10 & I plan on the break being 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll lose these 10 pounds (some of which, is only water…

@joinn68 This is the best question/comment, that I've ever read. A motivational question/comment, rather than a motivational quote but it has the same inspiring effect, you're very impressively intelligent; well done! :) <3

@amusedmonkey I agree, which is why I am convinced that the OP; has an eating disorder. I believe that she isn't losing, like she planned and/or hoped & is desperate because of her previous thread, about her overaggressive weight loss goals:…

Ask a Dietitian instead.
-
There're many fields of medicine, her Doctor is obviously not qualified; in dietetics. Just like a Dentist isn't qualified to be an OBGYN.
-
However that's the problem, her Doctor obviously isn't qualified; to give this advice. Would you have a Dentist act as your OBGYN?. Sure these both involve Doctors but they're educated differently, to deal with different parts of the body. They aren't qualified to do each other's job. We're also experienced by, the results…
-
We've chosen to educate ourselves, via other professional's peer reviewed studies & then apply them, to ourselves & have experienced, the results; to be factual. It's obvious that her Doctor, hasn't educated herself; beyond her requirements.
-
We aren't giving advice as professionals but her Doctor is, that's the difference. We do however provide facts, that professionals have disclosed to us; via links to peer reviewed studies & our own experiences, which're also facts.
