If by Doctor you mean Physician, they don't receive enough nutritional education; to give diet advice. That's why there're Dietitians, that's the only person; whom has enough professional knowledge to do so. If I had a Physician that was fraudulent enough, to pretend to be a Dietitian; I'd fire & report them!

@clrug0912 It would just enhance the water & add calories, etc., to it but it wouldn't subtract, any of the water itself. Same thing if you made instant mashed potatoes from a box instead of tea, you'd be adding calories, etc., to the water but you could still count the water, as if you drank it plain; without anything…

Princess Diana but I always knew that she'd die young because I could never imagine her becoming elderly. Same with many others, that have died young or while they still looked younger, than their actual age.

I'd count it because to me, accuracy is important & the amount of caffeine, isn't significant enough; to be a diuretic.

Water is water, whether hot, cold, frozen, etc. Even the water in your food, can be counted.

I have a Total Gym Fit & it's killing me. I can't do arm and/or ab exercises, for more than 15 minutes & leg exercises, for more than a half hour & I am only on level 1 of 12 but I wouldn't go beyond level 6. I planned to go up to level 2 for my arms, level 4 for my abs & level 6 for my legs but that doesn't seem doable.…

If your children are already supported by you & his by him, without you even knowing; that each other exists. How would your children and/or his, have less? I'd say that they'd have more because, they'd each have an extra adult; to turn to.

I actually really enjoy the taste of chain restaurant food, even $1.00 menu items; I just dislike the high amounts of calories, etc.

You can get these types of foods, then portion them yourself; to fit into your calorie goals. Just like if you don't buy a single serving box of cereal, that doesn't mean that you have to eat an entire multi serving box; as 1 serving.

That also depends upon, what 1 considers a serving of food to be as well. For me 1/4 carton of ice cream, is what I once; considered to be a serving because that amount, is what then satisfied me.

Which is why I don't demonize chain establishments. While I disagree with the high amounts, per serving; it's better than not knowing because at least I can divide the serving, into my caloric allotment; per portion & still have the accuracy of knowing; it's caloric value.

A Dietitian told me, that at least 130 grams of Carbohydrates (not sugar); is a requirement for brain function.

Unfortunately for me, those that irate me; give great advice. So I won't, ignore them. The problem, is in how they; convey it. They're very arrogant!
